That’s adorable. I’ve literally seen YOU on here blaming Biden for this and praising Putin, while attacking the Ukraine. All you have to do is read almost any article regarding MAGAs and you’ll see their continuous praise for Putin and attack of Biden. The level of dishonesty is astounding
Your beliefs are full of shit. We’ve seen that time and time again. In the end, you’re supporting our enemy, support the attack on the US on Jan 6th, and consistently lie about it. You have repeatedly talked about support for Russia, downplayed the Ukraine to even calling them not a country (Russian talking points) and NOW, you want to pretend you’re all for the US. What a slag
I’ve said this often about GSClown, but imagine pretzel tying your belief system into a million knots that you can’t get undone. Then still trying to lie to support you million knots that you can’t undo. It has to be tiring trying to remember which knot you tied last week or the week before. I can’t imagine living that way.
I made a claim. Djrion then linked an article to dispel my claim BUT it provides no evidence as to why these ppl were arrested. In fact, it doesn’t definitively prove that anyone was, indeed, arrested at all. It’s an assertion.
It’s not my job now to investigate his claim. He’s still on the clock. If he can’t produce anything meaningful, that’s his problem.
For all I know these articles could be BS. Or, these could be violent people who were legitimately jailed. So there’s that.
In order to protest in a group in Russia you have to apply for a permit like 15 days in advance. L O L
So yeah, these protestors broke the law. Should the military have called the civilians and alerted them 16 days prior that they should apply for permits before they invaded?
I’m glad your orange boyfriend convinced you to realize how much you favor Putin and other dictators. Keep on defending them.
I spent more than a decade traveling around the Soviet Union. While I spent most of my time in Moscow where I owned an apartment, I spent many weeks in Odessa, Crimea, and in Rostov on Don. I found Crimea very Russian and Donetsk as well. While there are perhaps a majority of Russians in Odessa–it has the second highest Jewish population in Ukraine, I found the Odessa Oblast (region) very pro Ukrainian, especially in the seven seaports along the Black Sea. Odessa is the most interesting region of Ukraine because of its ancient ruins and incredible population diversity where you find venues where they speak Bulgarian, Romanian, and Turkish. All of Western Ukraine along with Odessa, Central Ukraine, Kiev and Kharkov are patriotically Ukrainian and IMO should remain under Ukrainian rule. Kiev is a beautiful city, filled with historical buildings, and is the birth place of the Eastern Slavic peoples.
The present situation in Ukraine is setting the stage for a slaughter. While I admire the Ukrainian resistance, the net result of taunting the Red Army will be hundreds of thousands killed, and destruction of the nation’s infrastructure. Neither Europeans nor the U.S. will fight for Ukraine. It is too late to send armament to Ukraine which will greatly antagonize Russia. A no fly zone could trigger war with the United States and/or deployment of nuclear weapons. Too, I understand Putin not wanting an opposing army in Ukraine or for Ukraine to become part of NATO and ballistic missiles aimed at Moscow installed in Ukraine.
Invading Ukraine, Putin has put his political career at risk… Putin will relentlessly prosecute this war. I favor settling the damn thing before hundreds of thousands of people perish. All speakers of Eastern Slavic Languages are able to understand one another and have greater cultural affinities with one another than they do with the Baltic States, Poland, Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia… Russia has changed demonstrably since the fracturing of the Soviet Union. It is reasonable to predict that the authoritarian nature of Russian governance will dissipate in the coming years as the Old Guard dies off. Nevertheless, my sense tells me the Russian Army will remain in Ukraine for years if necessary until Putin achieves his goals. That Putin has remained in power for so many years is quite extraordinary in Russian history. Putin is a very shrewd politician.
Lastly, Russia thanks to Biden, is in the driver’s seat when it comes to supplying Europe with energy. War in Ukraine shuts down existing pipelines. So pray tell where is Europe going to obtain its fuel with a protracted war in Ukraine. Will Biden finally lift restriction on U.S. energy production to accommodate Europe with prices remaining extravagantly high in the US or will Europe shiver in cold during the winter and finally give in to economic exigencies. The answer is less war and destruction and more structuring of a peace settlement.
None of this would have happened were it not for a rigged election.
