Moore went to MLK High School in Detroit. (Formerly Eastern High School.)
They have won some state championships. Enrollment is a bit under 2000 students.
Frenchy Fuqua went there as did George Gervin and Coleman Young.
Ward and Howard are both visiting UM this week.

What I mean to say is that you watch TVD leave Miami (essentially run out of town on a rail) and go to Wisconsin and play lights out. I wish he could have figured it out here.
It seems likely TVD will have the same problems at Wisconsin that he had at Miami.
Hope it works out for him but depending who they have on their roster, he may not even start.
Moore super arm talentā¦but donāt expect him to be ready for next year. He needs ALOT of workā¦And you are probably going to have to put up with ALOT of drama til then. But yes the upside is huge.
Moore was absolutely awful at UCLA this year. He has talent, but something was way off in his play. He wasnāt even close to being a good college qb.
I just hope Miami can land a QB who is elusive, capable of rushing the football, especially on long third down conversion plays. Agreed that Moore had a bad year, but his potential for future development is evident. The same thing I suppose could be said of Jacurri Brown however Jacurri has not demonstrably improved. This I think sheds negative light on Shannon Dawson. Though TVD played better under Dawson than under Gattis, he was far from being cited as a Heisman candidate as he formerly was under Lashlee. Ergo, I am not sold on Dawson as I am on Guidry. I am really troubled by his not using TEs; if you donāt throw the ball to TEs, youāre better off putting OTs at the end positions. At this juncture, Ward out of Washington State looks like the best QB in the portal, but there is rife competition for his services. In this game of college football, you cannot expect seasonal success without a good QB.
It will be interesting to watch how Van Dyke plays at Wisconsin. If all of a sudden, he plays lights out as a transfer, we know for certain that the blame for his underachieving can be placed on our coaching staff. I think we need to come to the realization that winning in the college game is presently determined on the offensive side of the ball. Teams that have vast numbers of third down conversion situations will likely be losers because they fail to execute on early downs and always face long odds on third down.
I am afraid I have sunk into a trough of despair after the great coaching mistake against Georgia Tech. Somehow, I cannot forget the stupidity that emerged in the closing minutes of that game. If Dawson called the plays in that series, were I Mario, Dawson would be history at UM. It will be a long time before that mistake will fade into history.
College free agency is a head scratcher sometimes. TVD leaves Miami to go to Nebraska, why? Some of the destinations these guys choose is a head scratcher.
Most of you all hate on Mario, I donāt. The guy is determined to win here. Some bad coaching decisions this year, and if you can learn from them, all the better.
I like Guidry but the jury is still out for me on Dawson.
As far as a QB next year? I honestly think if Ward or the other kid (brain fog) wanted to be here they would have announced already. I donāt see either one of them coming so we had better have a plan C in placeā¦
Itās his 13th season as a Head Coach. Heās been coaching since 1998. He had to learn that shit here huh? 
Right there with you. Signing day is tomorrow and itās like I donāt even care. We were 4-0 and 5-0 should have been a given. We beat TAMU and Clemson and still finish 7-5? Gee, whereād it all come apart? Hmmm! We canāt even handle the victory formation eh? I sure am confident going into 2024! Hell, what QB wouldnāt want to be here?
