You posted about delta spreading…My answer is ZeroDlta, ZeroCovid , etc…etc…simply is too dangerous and with deaths down CLEARLY not worth any type of mandate that invades other aspects of people’s lives and drives the country further into ruin and needing government help and bigger government in general to “save” us.

My point about delta in this thread is that it is different and more infectious. I never once said that we should all shut down again and go back to masks.
The answers to your concerns are attempts at mitigation…My point is the mitigation is a big problem and you and others are making “cases” a bigger concern that it should be.
A lot of the reason I believe GSC and all of us are arguing this is because the fact that everyone is blaming delta and future mutations…Which of course leads to more ridiculous attempts at failed mitigation.
Why not just accept it’s here (with all variants and mutations) , treat it, and let people know the vaccine can help fight it although the effectivieness against transmission is ehhhh looking not so strong? And why is no one questioning/re-visiting the fact that the spike in the south was at the same time for 2 straight years (July)? I mean we didn’t have vaccinated/unvaccinated but are getting the same spike in same location with less deaths?
It’s easier for media and left to spread fear and say… It’s not working because of delta…And guess what…oh no there will be other deltas and lamas (no shit)!!! I mean- I posted a study that shows that rhinovirus antibodies are highly effective against the alpha variant. These two pathogens are what? 70% similar at best?
But the alpha antibody isn’t effective against delta and they are 99.997% similar.

Virus gonna virus…Probably see a slight uptick in deaths in the next 10 days (although nowhere near as bad as last year) and then fade away. Unfortunately probably see a November uptick up here in the northeastern and midwest states by November. (let’s hope death rate keeps plummeting)
