Biden has made the US position clear since day one. We will condemn an invasion, hit Russia with sanctions, but we will not bring NATO to war with Russia.
It’s a disappointing reality, but Ukraine isn’t important enough to start WW3 over. I don’t like the US position, and I think it’s very shortsighted for Europe, but it is what it is.
At the end of the day, Putin will take on the sanctions. He would have preferred Trump in office fighting for fewer sanctions. Anyone here thinking Trump would have stopped Putin from invading Ukraine is fooling themselves, though. Most of the conservatives here don’t care or even believe Ukraine should be unified - Trump himself is praising the move as genius. The only difference, if Trump were in office now, if that Russia would have fewer sanctions against them.

False. He didn’t cut production. He halted new leases. Private firms cut oil production in 2020 due to limited demand due to the pandemic.

Trump bankruptcies are insignificant considering he started more than 500 private corporations. Bankruptcies generally occur during venture capital deals in which there are multiple partners. When such deals, go south, partners exercise their six hundred year old remedy of bankruptcy. In my own lifetime, I’ve been through a host of failed partnerships which were terminated in bankruptcy. Capitalism involves risk, and you often need risk tolerance to succeed. Not even Warren Buffett makes a profit on every investment, but his overall record of investing acumen is marvelous. Trump is a very successful businessman. I always choose to stay at Trump Hotels; I believe in brand loyalty. Besides, you find few skunkoid wokesters at Trump establishments.
By whom is Trump rated the third worst president? Other ratings, including my own, Trump is a Top Five president. Obama eclipsed Carter as the worst, however, Biden is fighting hard for the presidential cellar. By the way, Warden, you’d think with Democrats in control, things would be marvelous in America.
