Top Uncommitted or High Priority Flip Targets regardless of position

Of this remaining list…

Based on consensus rankings

Overrated: Hale, Henderson, Pittman (all are definite takes and would welcome in the class)
Underrated: Rojas, Zion, Wittenberg, Britton, Vilma, Proctor

6/1 Of the uncommitted (multiple reports of a small class, but I do think it will be a little bigger than what is being reported 20-21 kidS)

Kids I think with at least a 25% chance of being Canes:
Jacobs
Bryant
Moore
Woodard*
Hyppolite *
K.Henderson

*=I believe we are the favorites or have a good as chance as anyone for

Updating here 6/5 for @caniac99

25% chance or more to be in class…* = as good as chance of any to end up at UM, top 2 or 3.

Jacobs*
Woodard*
Hyppolite*
Henderson*
Vilma*
Poole
Cartwright
Evans
Lacey

For everyone else, the original post here is updated…If I see a scenario they end up at UM, they are still listed.

Hyppolite to Miami. It sounds like he was set to go to Florida after the visit there but the defensive back coaches really swayed him during the Miami visit.

Hyppolite was always right towards the bottom of the top group. Started off somewhere around #28. 6 out of 26 at time of commit

Canes were first on him, wanted him badly, great get.

So what happened with Henderson? Scout says it’s 50/50 with us and ND and he announces Thursday.

No we pretty much backed out. So did Tamu. So sounds like kid was blatantly using teams as leverage, and with what UM already brought in at LB wasn’t willing to go any higher and possibly while also being made a spectacle of with a big public commitment elsewhere (That last part obviously speculation by me and others)

Unless something happened last 24 hours, UM isn’t involved anymore.

ESPN says Henderson picked TAMU. I guess it felt like family.

Ys the last day or so they reappeared in the mix. UM wasn’t mentioned much the last week after publicly pulling out.

I believe there will be 2-4 further commits in this HS cycle.

4 may be pushing it. Chances for those slots imo

WR2= 80%
WR3/ATH= 20% (I just have a sneaky, no-info suspicion Vilma ends up in this class either way)
TE2= 55%
DE3= 45%
LB3= 5%
DB6 = 10% (maybe the WR3 is an ATH type)
HS P/K= 10%
RB2 = 15%
OL 6 = 10%
DT4= 10% (only if it’s a MAJOR, MAJOR flip)

Likely done at OL, QB, RB, LB, DT imo

Suppose that’s why things quieting down. I am still of the personal opinion that colleges competing for the title need to get the best kickers they can. Can easily be the difference between 11-1 or 10-2 and all that. Guess time to check out until August…

Just for shits and grins any thoughts from members on how other teams are doing with recruiting? TAMU? Texas Tech? OSU? ND? USCalif? Some of the 5 star dominoes seem to have fallen of late.

I’ll give my uninformed .02. I can’t really speak to programs hitting their “needs” or overall class structure. This is from my memory of more publicized commitments.

TAMU - Seem to be killing it.

Texas Tech - Can’t recall them hitting on so many big names. Program appears to have some real momentum. Sorsby impact will be very interesting not only for this year but years to come.

OSU - Strong as always. I find their consistency impressive; however, we seem to be holding our own head to head this year.

ND - Looks like a very strong year in terms of big names. Sucks to see. Truly hate this d@mn program. Has to be said.

USC - Honestly, I know nothing about them. Feel like the news I’ve heard is more about them losing a couple top rated kids but not really sure.

Woodard to UM. #3 on latest list.

The more I see of this kid the more I like him. Debut’d in the mid to low 20s I believe when list was much bigger, but stock is on the rise. Dominated at THE OPENING

Would love to find out which deals got killed. And, of course, any involving UM.

Classic comment on ESPN, “Serbian forward Nikola Kusturica has reached a multiyear agreement to play for UCLA, sources told ESPN, giving the Bruins arguably the best European prospect in his age group and an early contender for the No. 1 pick in the 2028 NBA draft.”

Does he mean scholarship? Hehe.

Updated with some new names we are considering.
