Dawson is still calling a good game. We need to keep running the football. For some reason, he doesn’t call many slant plays. I suppose he’s not too concerned with the rather poor SMU pass rush.
It looks like a Fletcher run is in the offing. Now, is time to throw a slant to TE.
Our short run game failed us our last 2 drives. 3rd and very short both times and we couldn’t convert.
They’re just gonna go pass happy and gain chunk yardage. Meanwhile Miami will try to run out the clock on the ground, content to keep things close.
We have some major issues with discipline on offense, especially the Oline and that falls squarely on coaching. Week after week after week after…We have a former Oline guy and an Oline coached by what many think to be the best Oline coach in the country. No excuse.
Our “massive” Oline can’t even convert on a 4 and 1?? No excuse.
Beck has played a good game overall, some drops by WR’s haven’t helped. Lord help us if Toney ever gets hurt…
Their tempo has kept us from getting pressure for most of the game.
Secondary seems fairly suspect. Better than last year for sure but we get beat alot and start chasing.
Some bonehead plays on ST but our K and P are really good.
We will be lucky to win this one.

We’ve had some awful penalties, luck, and no calls this game. It’s been the perfect storm for SMU.
It’s amazing how big of a nosedive this team took after FSU. Really dumb ghings happening everywhere. Trademark of Miami and Cristobal teams.
