No real argument there.. I have gone on record saying ND should have been in over Bamaā¦ I think Bama and OU benefitted from that SEC bias.
However, that does not change my original messageā¦ I am sick and tired of ND always getting these exceptions and special privileges.

ND is to blame for one thing - JOIN A CONFERENCE. If they are in the Big 10 or ACC this year they are probably in the playoffs. They lost to NIU last year and got into the playoffs. FSU got screwed when they went 13-0 and Bama got in. The SEC is not as good. LSU is down, UF is down, Bama is not as good, Texas lost 3 gamesā¦.Their top teams this year are Texas A&M and Ole Miss. Sorry but when the other programs are down and they are up your conference is not as good. Anyone who watched Bama this year will tell you that they are getting the Bama/Saban bump.
They lost to FSU 31-17 and honestly the game was not that close. Against Georgia they won 24-21. They went up 14-0 early. They scored 24 points in the first half and were shutout in the second half. In over 6 quarters that Bama and UGA played they scored 7 points. Georgia almost came back and won. Go and watch that game after 14-0 -UGA outplayed them. They got way too much credit for that win.
Vandy 14-14 at Haltime and they were up only 20-14 through three quarters. Game got away with about 4 minutes left in the game. They added a TD up 23-14 with like 20 seconds left to make the game look worse.
Missouri -27-24 -Through three quarters they were up 20-17. Won by 3. Bama had 325 yards of total offense.
Tennessee - 37-20 Bama played well - But go back and watch a pick 6 right before the half and Tennessee lost all the momentum of the game. If not for that pick the game is close with Tennessee having a chance to win.
Alabama vs. SC - 15 -14 South Carolina through 3 quarters. South Carolina was up. Bama was down 2 minutes left in the game. They score to tie it and I believe South Carolina turned it over and Bama won the game.
Lost to Oklahoma at home.
vs. Auburn - Go and watch the game. -Auburn was in the game and if not for a fumble by their WR -bama /auburn go into overtime.
Bama got blowout by UGA in SEC title game. Bama is not a top ten teamā¦.

Bama is in the 12-15 range at best - BYU, Utah, Vandy, USC, Michigan even Georgia Tech would all give them a game. UVA, SMU, Pitt would all have a chance to beat Bama. I think USC would beat them in a head to head match up. They canāt run the ballā¦and teams have been able to run on them.
Their scoring offense is 40th in the country. Their rushing offense is 117th in the country. This is not a good bama team.
And then thereās this:

Hard not to say, hey ACC, kick Notre Dame to the curb.
Iām tired of those Domers thinking they can have their cake and eat it too. I was fit to be tied when I heard ND was allowed to join in all sports āexcept footballā.
I think Bevacqua is barking up the wrong tree here. If ND was in the ACC in football, I am certain the ACC would not have taken those shots at ND. But as far as the ACC is concerned.. when it comes to fooball.. ND is persona non grata.
Join in full, or GTFO. Personally, I would be 100% with ND leaving the ACC.. Or better yet, I would prefer if Miami left this dumpster fire of a conference.

ND has no argument about Miami being in. We beat them.
However, they DO have a legitimate argument to be made about Alabama being in. Alabama is ONLY in because they are in the SEC. Period. We all know that the SEC really is the best football conference. Itās not even debatable. However, ND should have been in over āBama.
I think the CFP needs to go to 16 teams and then be DONE! ACC Champ should be in regardless of their record. Manny won the ACC before Mario did! Just sayinā. Yes, 7-5 but they still WON.

I donāt know what the answer is for all this mess, but I think the G5 needs its own playoff

The irony this year with the 12 teams is that we actually have more debate than if it was the old system with four teams. I think there would be very little debate if it was just the top four this year.
Because then, they will only look at one loss or undefeated teams.
