And PS - absentee and mail in aren’t identical.
Some absentee processes mandate a person verify/validate their identity in person prior to receiving the ballot to cast. And all of them have much stricter chain of custody’s rules (you can’t have someone deliver for you) and you have to have to have postmarked by Election Day.
With mail in some states allow +3 days after election night. Insane.
And here’s the #1 difference- absentee is a “request” and mail in isn’t. Mail ins are just sent when no one ever asked for them and now you have potential ballots out there that can be modified.

As of 2016 Florida doesn’t even HAVE absentee ballots anymore. They renamed them to vote-by-mail. So, without even digging, that is a case where your definition is incorrect. There are likely others.

I disagree…By nature a lot of these people are zealots and maniacs and they stay in a state of “mobilization”, which is a testament to their loyalty. And on another note unlike moderate GOP…Even though they may not agree with it all, they still back their more extreme candidates.
And to top it all off, they are now “Super” mobilized because of Roe…And again…Many in the middle or even moderated candidates won’t vote to ban abortion.
