As of right now I won’t include him since he is a preferred walk-on and not against the 85…I would probably have him in the “Glorified Jag” category on my football board counting post…He has played meaningful snaps for Zona though.
Alston is in the top list of players, I like the pick up…Not a super star, but Guidry like him and he’s been good at g5
Two good picks. Alston is tried and proven, and in the pass happy college game, edge players often determine the success QBs will have during the game. Some QBs are marvelous when they have just a few seconds more time to operate, but when hurried their performances suffer. I think Tua is an example of being a very accurate passer when not hurried, but he’s a different player and far less successful when the heat is turned up on him. I like Guidry whose Marshall team played far over their heads under his defensive regime. I like what I saw of the Miami defense this past season. I trust Guidry’s opinion of Austin.
Jason Taylor is an exemplary person, and I presume that his son is a chip off the old block, a fine human being who has displayed a measure of football talent. I think young Taylor can help us.
