I disagree morally with homosexuality and the trans trend. I believe it’s abhorrent, particularly how one of their agendas seems to be indoctrinating our youth.
However, I would defend their right to live free, peaceful lives with all due rights to them under the constitution.

One does not have to be gay to support homo rights. I use the term homo not caring a rat’s ass what liberals think. I do not think for instance that 51 is a gay person, however, many gays remain in the closet. Many are emotionally disturbed by sexuality, wrestling with their mental problems. Were I subjectively to guess in terms of odds, I would offer that 51’s probability of gayness would be less than 1 out of 100
As a libertarian, I in most cases think gays should be able to live their lives the way they choose. I believe in gay marriage, because love and devotion are warranted by contract. I even believe gays should be able to adopt children if they exhibit quality content of character. If they are pedophiles, they need to be turned over to the at large prison population.
Gays should not be in the military, because research shows them in the main to be unreliably psychologically fit for the militeary. The military should maintain strict rules about appearance, dress, discipline, and so forth. No soldier should look like he has a palm tree growing out of his head. No soldier should have plaited hair, or even long hair. Anyone with a nose ring should be court marshaled. No one should wear hats, kipas, or hijabs, or scarfs. Soldiers should not look like a pack of hippies, Orthodox Jews, muslims, or denizens of the hood…
Trans people are in general mental cases. The public should not be paying for transexual operations. Trans men should be subjected to the cat of nine tails for even thinking about participating in women’s sports. These people need psychiatry not having their privates aborted.

For me, to answer my own question, religion plays a big part in the social construction of norms.

No society can govern rationally putting the special needs of homosexuals ahead of those presumed to be normal. Kink is something to which young children should never be purposely exposed. Only a sick society would allow this within the sphere of elementary schools. Were my child exposed to same, I damn well would be marching down to the school and probably would be arrested.
Much homosexual behavior, I believe, is learned. My homosexual friends and I have discussed this subject many times, and we are generally in agreement. I find the recent San Francisco Gay Pride Chorus selection to be advancing perverse, predatory behavior. Threatening to pervert others’ children is unspeakably wicked.
Who in their right minds wants their children to grow up as a homosexuals? That to me would be insanity. Accepting homosexuality is of course a family problem, requiring much thought, for own my part it would be a despairing disappointment though I would still love my child. I would however never be happy about it.

It’s why when we do anything wrong, morally, we feel guilt and shame. There’s a line in the Bible that says we are made in “God’s image”
Some people believe that is a literal statement. I don’t. I believe it means 2 things… we are born with God’s ability to create and destroy… and we are born with his moral nature imbued within us.
It is why bikki, an admitted atheist, admits to the tenets of Islam being evil and the tenets of Christianity being good.
It’s the same with a homosexual. We could achieve 99% support for homosexuality and a normal functioning (not psychotic) human would still feel shame and guilt practicing the behavior. Because deep down they know it’s antithetical to their nature.
We see this with masturbation. Ask anyone if they care if a person masturbates… nope… the overwhelming amount of people don’t care if you wank one out on your bathroom at lunch time… but most people who masturbate feel shame… remorse… guilt… because it’s embedded within us that it’s wrong to do it.

Well, if my hypothesis is correct, the “so what” has negative upstream consequences… let’s put aside the judgement part (hell)… it would create thousands of people who partake in an activity that makes them feel extreme shame and guilt about.
Ever ask yourself why gays call their movement “Pride?” It’s pretty telling. Because they all know it’s wrong and carry shame and guilt so they create a fake facade of “pride” that they have to beg people to be a part of… a day where they get naked, walk the streets, act like morons and probably feel even more shameful afterwards about.

It’s morality. Humans detect, understand, and adhere to a moral code. One that was not created by us, but was passed to us.
