Who played the WORST NFL game of the three Florida teams this week?

Jaguars - drubbed 47-10 by Buffalo and seemed highly disinterested throughout, game was over immediately.

Bucs - lost 26-7 to a winless Denver team and made them look almost formidable in the process. Seemed to have left their game in Detroit the prior week.

Dolphins - took ZERO offense to Seattle and rolled Skylar Thompson out there to battle the Seahawks. Guy isn’t an NFL QB at all. Their alternative was keeping Mike White around. They too, were done in the 1st quarter it seemed.
Not a good NFL Florida weekend at all. Dolphins and Jags look checked out already in 2024 and the Bucs never got going after two nice wins to start, especially with Washington beating Cincinnati tonight. Their feel-good start came crashing down Sunday.
Jags or Fins get my vote. Both have serious personnel issues, but at least the Jags have a QB or so we THINK they do. He just doesn’t play like a franchise one currently. Tua’s on the IR so that’s no football for FOUR WEEKS but I’m hearing it’s gonna be longer than that. The league would rather he not play again. He’s injury prone and his concussions look dreadful. Both of these teams need a bunch of questions answered and soon.

Is this the same Storm Front that used to ruin every thread on the old site with coaching vs talent debates? I always wondered if he serious or it was schtick to get people riled up. I do remember it getting to the point where certain posters actually threatened him with physical violence. Not blaming Storm specifically, but that was kinda when the old board started to devolve. Then there was the guy who called people all kinds of awful slurs when he disagreed with them.

Lol I do remember Shadow or one of the mods finally putting a stop to it on the private board at least. He didn’t strike me as a bad guy just overbearing. There were a couple of certified psychos on that board though.
Storm raised his game to a whole new level on this board. He got so bad that the sole moderator, who opposes censoring posts, finally chose to ban him.

That’s the guy I was thinking of! Sunrise or something. This is the same winner who called me a “gook” (my handle was ThaiCane on that board) over a disagreement during a game. If that wasn’t enough, he then sent me threatening private messages offering to meet him at a tailgate. He would also send random graphic pictures of Asians being beaten and then gay porn. Also would send me random messages with racial and homophobic slurs about other board members he had issues with. A real winner. I’m pretty sure he messaged me from multiple accounts as well.
If that guy isn’t locked up in an institution he should be.

Interesting discussion of the old board and its denizens.
Ward/Restrepo, in this room you’re liable to be called an idiot or worse, but you won’t find anyone crass enough to sully your ethnicity. We actually like, or at least appreciate one another. We understand that this is a message board where we sometimes draw swords and vie with one another.
I defended Stormfront because I knew him personally,having watched a number of Hurricane games with him and my departed friend Canebill. I much enjoyed our get togethers, and there was no shortage of verbal jousting, all in Spanish. I speak Spanish having been raised by a Mexican family as my father was an itinerant high stakes gambler, and I depended on Stormfront to explain to me the modismos or unique phrases of Cuban dialect. It was great fun.
Many times, Bill and I attempted to reign in Storm, reproaching him for not knowing when to withdraw gracefully from an argument. One of the salient things I learned in law school was when to shut the hell up. Adversarial persuasion requires a suaveness as opposed to impulsive glibness. When before a jury, a barrister must take care not to make the jury personally dislike him/her. Bill and I tried but apparently failed to teach Storm how to win friends and influence people. When Storm was banished from the forum, I couldn’t formulate a defense, for 305 was both patient and fair with him.
Don’t run away Ward/Restrepo when someone calls you an idiot.

Yeah. I thought about sharing them publicly with the board back when he would send them but then I got the vibe that he would enjoy the thought of him getting to somebody like that and decided not to. And from what I remember seeing on the old board I wasn’t the only one he sent them to.
Thanks bikki! Like I said, Storm seemed like a decent enough guy, just too many threads he participated in went sideways. But a well enough meaning guy I thought. Sunrise or whatever name he was using at the time, however, was just abhorrent with some of the things he would say about people over a simple difference of opinion.

I kid about Storm. I don’t remember him on the other site. I remember Kencane. I don’t believe I have seen him here. There were guys like BigBlueCane who I met in person. I just never understood the Hamlan deal.
The developers of this forum software don’t believe in hard block controls. Their opinion is if someone is a large enough troll/distraction then it’s best for them to be banned by a moderator.
I disagreed with them before, but it is true that blocks can be abused as well. A “block” in this case would be, what, not allowing someone to respond in a thread you started? Or not be able to quote you? That can lead to strategic blocking to allow oneself to freely say stupid shit without repercussions.
That’s because he was banned from the Locker Room. He turned every thread into a coaching-versus-talent argument. It was tiring.

I like McDaniel. I think he is a very good coach. He was handed Tua and Chris Grier doubled down. I don’t think McDaniel is the reason the dolphins doubled down on tua. The Dolphins should trade for a QB there are some options out there.
I think there is an unwritten rule the dolphins can be good when UM is.
I don’t dislike Flores either. The Dolphins are poorly run.
Unreal that an alleged adult gets to the point of hurling racial slurs and wanting to fight over a different of opinion about football. Sounds like he sent his information to a lot of people, me included. I wonder if anybody actually took him up on his offer. Some of the threats he made were getting into legal issue area.
