Good God, what gets somebody to that point? Did he disagree with one of your recruiting evaluations or something? I ask only because he went nuts on me over a simple disagreement during one of the gameday threads years ago. I don’t even remember the context of it honestly but it made no sense for him to react like that as I don’t get personal with people.

Elite80…the thing that galls me the most is the sheer dishonesty of the damned owners. Flores accumulated draft-picks like crazy. Under him the Dolphins D gave the Bills headaches .
The year they fired the man he rattled off either 8 or 9 wins at the END of the season. Most decent team owners would have given their left-arm for a finish like that. Ross’ excuse for firing the guy was the oldest and worst in the book ….“He was difficult to work with…”. Utter B.S.
IMHO McDaniel does not have/never had a Plan B in case things went wrong. Now he just stands on the sidelines looking like a guy who was just told that his house has burned down. I believe that (just my opinion mind you) that Flores thought that Tua needed to be constantly patted on the head and he had no time for that. He knew that draft-picks are gold and you never waste them.
McDaniel came in threw everything at getting Tyreek Hill and Andy Reid said “Sold !!”.

Remember the Dolphins passed on Herbert for Tua. I would never had drafted him. Tua is small. My son and I met him and my son is taller. On top of it he had a horrible injury at Bama. Then they don’t draft lineman to protect him. It will probably get McDaniel fired but I still blame Grier.
He applied to this board shortly after it was launched. I gave him one chance and he blew it in like 30 seconds. He was blocked and his IP banned.

As disgusting as the slurs and threats were, I could almost chalk that up to typical online macho BS stuff. But the gay porn stuff was just, well…weird. Maybe some projecting going on there, who knows. I don’t know if I was only one lucky enough to be recipient of that or if everybody he had issues with got the gay stuff sent to them in addition to the threats of physical violence.
I got plenty of the lovely pictures from him.

Even if you forget about 'Bama …in a 'Fins game the guy got one of the worst on-field concussions anybody has ever seen. They knew he had been concussed (?) before …yet they threw a 200 Mil contract at the guy before this season started. They could have jumped on Derrick Henry when the Titans cut him loose …and added to the OL …for that money…instead …they crapped the bed.
Watching the Vikings D is a pleasure … The O is nothing to shout about but it gets the job done and they win. No “big-name expensive QB”.
