Gulp!......UGA......Penn State

OK, so how far do I have to move the goal posts now that Notre Dame has blasted Georgia? Granted, Beck was gone and UGA had no QB but the real issue was that ND could run and UGA could not–at all. Can PSU beat them in Miami? Is it now entirely on OSU to beat them in the title game? Or…GOD FORBID…do “they” win it all?

Tell me there’s another ending to this! :rage:

Those were two really bad offenses going at it. Easily the worst two qb’s in the tourney. Yeesh

I’ll need more convincing.

Remember, Drew Allar awaits in Miami (not filling me with confidence)

Pickem with Penn State. Decent chance ND ends up in the title game.

Allar doesn’t instill confidence but at the same time ND was inept offensively.

This is the affect of the Portal! Georgia had 12 guys out, some due to injury and suspension but others out due to portal. Not a full strength Georgia team. If so, they beat ND.

ND is not that good, they are in because of brand. Penn State will take care of them.

I look for a Penn State/Ohio State showdown.

OH! Let’s here Paul Finebum and the rest of the SEC whiners talk about how Oregon should NOT have been in…since we had first round blowouts they should complain about this one too?? (insert sarcasm)

Won’t matter if the leprechauns make it to the final. As much as I hate to say it. * will destroy them. ND vs. * in the final… Lord help me if that is not like my nightmare scenario… I hate those two programs more than any others. They are my 1a and 1b for hating. I wish a meteor would strike the 50 yard line during the game.

No hope for a Texas win?

That top players forego the playoff games takes some of the luster off of the National Championship tourney. IMO, Ohio State looks like the strongest team left in the competition. I doubt I’ll even watch if the final game pits OSU vs Notre Dame. We were crooked out of NCs by both OSU and Penn State, and Notre Dame still calls us Convicts.

Notre Dame and the zebras stole a Natty from Miami too. The infamous 1988 Catholics vs. Convicts game in South Bend…

Cleveland Gary did NOT fumble…

At this juncture I have to “root” loosely put for Texas and Penn State. Since I am o’fer I am confident it will be the opposite. In any event I hope they are competitive games to watch, in short supply this CFP.

Ohio State and Porter YES, but not by Penn State. PSU is all on Vinny and the stubborn coaching staff. Unfortunately, that one is all on us. Should have won but didn’t.

FYI, Arizona State wins that game easily with their #1 receiver playing and their top DB having to be out the first half, on a bullship targeting call in the conf. champ game. I see Ohio State blowing out Texas.

PS.
Daughter goes to ASU, they are my official 2nd team now! :sunglasses: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Doubt they win “easily”. Pure rhetoric. They were still down 24-8 before they woke from their slumber. Let’s not totally re-write the game.

You haven’t seen Jordan Tyson play than. Easily, meaning he would have been the game changer for the victory and Scat would have put up even bigger numbers.

:+1:

Saw UGA headline and thought it was about this

Wonder what they saw or maybe he has dirt on kirby

I saw that on the ESPN website and scratched my head. I do want to watch what he does and see if UGA gets something meaningful out of him. If so, that supports the “can’t develop” argument with UM.

If UGA gets the best out of him and he plays well, or even better, it will tell you alot about our coaches/lack of development

I said nothing to this at the time but I KNEW this wouldn’t be the case.

One win away from THEM getting a bunch of hardware.

RIDICULOUS (come on field, are ANY of you better than Northern Illinois?)

Yeah, I was wrong. I was thinking that whoever wins this game will lose the natty, Texas or Ohio State are better than PSU and ND.
