It wasn’t just Trump saying it though.
I think in another era I could have voted Dem or Independent to be honest. I’m not a big second amendment guy. I’m not pro death penalty. I just can’t get by the anti family pro abortion side. Won’t ever vote D unless they change that.
Oddly, I’m a big 2nd amendment guy, but i want universal background checks and a national registry. I also believe in the death penalty. However, I donate to Planned Parenthood and think women own their own bodies. It might be curious to list a few of the policies and where everyone actually stands on them.
After Trump said it a bunch, people jumped on the bandwagon. He poisoned the entire discussion around the election way before anybody voted by talking about cheating. He was just setting the stage with his usual antics.
This is wild! But it’s a great point to step back and realize that many of us aren’t that different. I hate the political discourse of us versus them, Issues are much more important and everybody’s views are more nuanced than Dem or Pub.
Unlike a lot of the Dem talking points, I respect the position of pro-lifers. I understand the mentality and meaning, even if I disagree. I sometimes don’t understand the vitriol in political disagreements, but then sometimes there can be real lives at stake and I get it.
And no one with a brain …Believes it was a “coup”
Besides common sense
Also, what evidence is there isn’t?
How can anyone take an election serious if you don’t need voter id? Or are you on the idiotic “voter id is bad” train as well?
IMAGINE
THINKING
VOTER
ID
IS
BAD
The best is when these idiots try to tell you why it’s bad, while also telling you they are “anti-racist”…The mental gymnastics
Incorrect…At least for me
It was common sense, watching all the push for mail-in leading up, and then deadline moving, etc…Pure comedy to watch in real time. Shameless
I’m not, actually, but it’s amusing watching you argue with yourself. Please carry on.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. We are divided as a country, and it’s our elected politicians that’s doinf the dividing. Like me for instance; I’m against abortions, yet I don’t think having a law on the books is going to solve the problem. Unless you can get a person to change the way they think, they will still get an abortion or want to get an abortion. All having an outright ban is going to do is create a black market (highly probable it already exists), trips to Canada, or some other countries if a person can afford it.
OK then what’s the problem?
I don’t have any problem with voter ID as long as it’s administered fairly. It doesn’t seem much different than voter registration as far as I’m concerned.
If the election was rigged - prove it. The 2020 election is long gone. I have never seen someone so whiny like trump.
Prove it wasn’t
No id required
Deadline moving everywhere
Like I said, prove it.
Only crooks favor voting without I.D.
Mail-in voting engenders fraud wherever it has been employed.
Voting should take place on one day only, paper ballots, no voting machine tallying votes. It should be a holiday. Maybe combine MLK and Juneteenth and reserve a holiday for voting.
Imagine Mexico having more legitimate elections than the U.S. Such is the effect of goof liberal governance. At this juncture, the elections are probably fairer in Russia which is famous for politburo shenanigans.
That’s like saying prove Santa or Bigfoot don’t exist.
That’s not how it works.
A claim requires evidence. Prove it or shut up.
Nah, not when the system is easy to cheat to begin with. Turning the other cheek just means you are cool with playing stupid and liked the results.
If you aren’t going to change a flawed system to foolproof it…Then you are no more correct than me with your Bigfoot analogy.
Let’s eliminate all radar guns…And I’ll just take your word everyone is going the speed limit.
How does that work when I don’t claim cheating even when I don’t like the results?
I don’t mind improving an existing system or trying to make it more secure and taking common sense precautions, but that doesn’t mean the last election was the least secure in history.
This is what I mean when I say you’re arguing with yourself. You’re in here arguing GENERAL election laws. That’s all fine and good but that’s not what I was ever speaking against.
The statement was made that THIS was the LEAST secure election in US history. Without proof, that statement has no basis in reality. Your argument that elections are generally insecure don’t suggest that 2020 was any different than 2016, so even you’re not making that argument.
Yes…They are a fucking joke. What’s your point?
I don’t think it’s controversial at all to claim that 2020 was less secure than 2016.
I think the claim can easily be supported by facts.
The methods of voting we had in 2020 like drop boxes were untested.
COVID made the election totally different. Way more mail in ballots and way fewer ballots rejected for questionable signatures.
That’s not saying there was rampant known fraud but it clearly opens up all kinds of possibilities.
The voter irregularities are all out there and well documented.
So many wild anomalies and virtual impossibilities like the turnout percentages in certain swing counties and states that made the difference. Water main breaking in Fulton county, machines breaking in Arizona on Election Day. All the stuff seeming to happen in the few states that really matter. Could be coincidence of course. Just add everything up and it leads to a lack of confidence.
Again, lack of confidence doesn’t equal proof of election steal. But it’s still lack of confidence.
The lack of voter id should disturb even Dems. If it doesn’t, you don’t care about free and fair elections.
In Michigan and NC you can’t vote in the state if you haven’t lived there for the last six months but you can vote overseas by internet even if you never lived in the state if your parents once lived in the state.
2020 was a cluster all around. To argue otherwise is either partisan sheepery or head in sand. It just is and the facts are damning.
Why is it the Dems that always want the loosest voting rules?
As simple as this…How can anyone take this shit seriously?
