No, I’m calling you an idiot for jumping to your preferred conclusion.
Huh? I have no conclusion. The article has its own conclusion that you guys are trying to now downplay because you all spent 2 years telling us that over reporting isn’t real. In fact many of you talked about under reporting. Lol.
Looks like a wash to me. I’m glad they are reforming it to narrow it down. Why you consider this a “gotcha” is absolutely hysterical. That you still refuse to believe that science changes over time is truly one of life’s greatest mysteries.
Let’s extrapolate. Let’s say across the board there were 15% less deaths in the USA. Do we make the same policy decisions?
I think no. The public wouldn’t have had an appetite for it.
It sure as holy fuck isn’t on the plus side…“I always said it was +/- 15%”. Pure comedy. I guarantee you there isn’t many people in this country that died of covid and they DARED count it as something else…No well in hell. And you know that. You are just trying to save face.
My god you have no shame.
Sure thing. Covid would still be a deadly pandemic. And that’s even if every single state screwed the pooch as hard as Mass did, which they didn’t.
There are lots of documented cases. It’s not about saving face, it’s about a consistent opinion that has consistently been proven.
Is this what you call it, commie cunt
So just for the record…This is now “narrowing it down”??? It’s no longer “crazy right wing conspiracy theory”?
That you still refuse to believe that science changes over time is truly one of life’s greatest mysteries.
Lol…Science? You mean counting and placing a cause of death? This qualifies as this ever-changing “science” you speak of?
Fuck off you piece of shit
Or maybe some just don’t want to go back and find the truth like Mass did?
“Sure thing”…It wasn’t the right decision the way it is done, let alone if there were less deaths…Which everyone with a fucking brain instead of an agenda knows there were…You really think Massachusetts is the only place this happened?
We have countless examples both within the country and worldwide of LESS MITIGATION producing the same results…And for a year you’ve run and hid from that statement.
You’re fucking disgusting
You don’t think. That’s the problem. 6m dead worldwide. Let’s say 15%, so close to a million off top. Roughly 5m and some change still dead. Shut downs, masks, social distancing STILL warranted for a pandemic worldwide.
The other issue at play here, that you again want to justify your own belief, is that just because the state is moving from 60 to 30 and reclassifying, doesnt mean they didn’t die from covid. It just means they are reclassifying the definition. I suspect there is some value in understanding longer lead death after complications from covid that get tossed out now. I mean hell, you idiots claim the vaccine is worse than the disease - bikki fake heart problems, you and your fake soccer stories, pretending the vaccine will do long term damage to justify your belief. It may or may not, but reducing symptoms of infection is at least a logical conclusion you can live with (pun intended). Your stories of why to avoid are all based on a belief of LONG TERM SIDE EFFECTS, yet at your convenience now, you chose to ignore it. Funny how that happens.
Again, I’m sure the 30 day change serves a good function and I’m glad they are doing it. There isn’t a thing wrong with it though. But there are nuances that it can affect in either direction.
I mean, Mass said they were bringing their numbers more in line with other states so…
Nah, there are probably miscounts in other places for sure. I just would be surprised if we have a national miscount of +15%.
You’re especially emotional today. Isn’t this the kind of rhetoric you call DJ and Warden out for?
No it isn’t
I just would be surprised if we have a national miscount of +15%.
Ahhhh a change of tune from the past couple years and even from yesterday…So would you at least admit that it is FAR FAR FAR more likely to be -15% than +15%
Seems like it from where I’m standing.
No change of tune. What I am saying is I doubt the miscount is that high. It could be, sure, but it would surprise me.
My opinion is and always has been that the covid death numbers in the US are mostly correct.
And the main people I’m criticizing are the ones who think covid numbers are a fraction of what’s out there. SF think covid accounts for maybe 10% of the deaths. GSC has mentioned 50% at times. I think that’s all ridiculous.
He’s still going on daily about Covid?
of course he is. Meltdown Mollie will never let it die
Another guy who swore they couldn’t be overcounting^^^
Little partisan fuckboy
It’s a clear change of tune…You clearly said yesterday there it is probably within 15% either way…Now you are saying you’d be surprise if we have a national miscount of +15%
You people sat here and swore they weren’t overcounted
Attacked anyone who said otherwise
Crow time
Yes, my previous arguments were that Of COURSE the count cannot be 100% accurate. 10-15% plus or minus is fairly reasonable, although it would surprise me if there was a 15% overcount of the total. I don’t think it would be that extreme, but it’s possible.
What I am saying is not possible are the conspiracy theories of only 5% deaths being actual covid deaths, or deaths being vastly overcounted on the order of 50%, etc. Essentially, I am saying that the death numbers in the US are mostly accurate.
I’ve always said this, and I still say it.
15% is huge and not “mostly accurate”
And although I don’t know…50% would not be a huge shock to me.
