How can a guy who’s as unpopular as Newsom have more support than in 2018?
I’ll tell you how. It was obvious once a black man like Elder posed a challenge, the Democratic machine kicked into gear. They got the ballot harvesting, vote by mail and smear campaign going. They called Elder a white supremacist even though he is black. They poured tons of money into the campaign, dwarfing money of everyone else.
San Fran voted 90% to keep him. That’s insane.
Got to clean up the voter fraud and mail in balloting issues if you ever want to win as an R. There is a clear signal here.
-I absolutely believe Newsome should have lost his job. People were leaving CA in droves well before this.
-That said - I wasn’t surprised. Dems outnumber Republicans 2 to 1 in the state. That be like expecting a recall vote of Bashear in KY to go the Dems way. Wouldn’t happen.
I do find it hilarious that the rights go-to excuse now is automatically voter fraud. No integrity whatsoever.
Let’s look at the numbers for a minute and be objective. Newsom is the least popular Governor in the nation. For the recall effort, a quarter of the signatures to recall were Dems who signed the petition. Then Newsom gets more votes than he did in 2018 when he’s at the lowest point in approval in his entire time in office?
He was recently polled at 30 some percent approval? You can’t get lower than that.
The numbers don’t make sense. And the entire election system is run by Dems. Open your eyes. You are deluded.
If you have integrity, you’d care about election integrity and push for a return to how we voted before the pandemic. Mail in voting and ballot harvesting allows for more cheating. It’s just a fact.
Return to the rules pre-pandemic and we’ll see what happens.
If we keep the current voting rules in place there is no way the R’s win any meaningful election ever again. No matter how bad the D’s are.
It’s really hard to prove when the apparatus is in full gear and one party literally controls the entire state!
All I’m saying is let’s see the votes under the old voting rules. We have to get rid of this ridiculous vote by mail and ballot harvesting, which should be illegal.

That has to have you scratching your head? Or maybe you just are the Polly Anna type and think the US is perfect and everything is above board.
But, I will say that if it wasn’t some fraud, the people of California are absolutely nuts and are willing to burn the state to the ground to keep a D in. If that’s the case, the people are literally insane.
I’m not ignoring it - but this isn’t probable cause to determine fraud. Perhaps people that didn’t like Newsome still voted for him because they weren’t comfortable with the alternative?
If there’s proof, let’s see it. Otherwise this is the process we have set up.

The Pubs tipped their hand and made Elder the go-to candidate too early. There are plenty of people who wanted Newsom out that voted for him to remain because they ESPECIALLY didn’t want a conservative radio host or whatever in charge of the state.
Only 24% of registered voters in California are Republican. It was NEVER going to happen.

And you wanna complain about the new rules? Without the new rules, this recall election wouldn’t have even gotten enough signatures to move forward. Due to covid, a judge gave them almost twice as long to collect signatures as defined by law. Prepandemic, this thing wouldn’t have even gotten off the ground.
On Monday night, President Joe Biden campaigned for Newsom in Long Beach and made the election a referendum on President Donald Trump. Ahead of the election, Newsom’s administration sent mail-in ballots to every registered voter in the state and used federal Wuhan coronavirus relief money to issue checks to voters.
So they paid for votes and sent them to everyone. Ballot harvesting to retain the least popular Governor in the nation.
And they condoned racist attacks on a black man. The Dem machine is in full gear.
There are tons of republicans who voted for trump who did not like him and felt he was crooked. My business partner is one of them. He hates trump…can’t stand him but won’t vote for a dem. Only idiots would believe Newsom was going to lose. In two years or six he will be one of the guys who wins the Dems side.
