GSC is right. No way the judgment sending Bannon to prison can withstand appeal. It was a star chamber trial. GSC has a very good understanding of jurisprudence, and his posts are accurate and prescient as well. GSC stands high on the list of great posters who have offered their thinking on this board. He was the first for example predicting a Trump victory when others scoffed.

This was a jury trial. And Bannon was prevented from defending himself. Which will be the basis of the appeal. Try to learn a little about our legal system before commenting.

You donāt understand how the law or how court works. The judge took away all of his avenues of possible defenses. But every action has an equal and opposite reaction. And in this caseā¦. Thatās a strong appeal defense.

Bullshit. The judge rejected the defenses Bannonās lawyer proposed because they were irrelevant. Bannon had zero excuse for not showing up for his subpoena.
In the end Bannon didnāt have any reason to ignore the subpoena that was issued to him. Heās in this spot because of him.
