BLM at least was trying to stand for their right to not get shot all the time by cops when they’re unarmed and don’t pose a threat. Hell, a guy got shot for jaywalking just a few days ago. Some of the ranks looted and burned shit down. There is no excuse for that, but by and large, they were largely peaceful outside of being shot in the face with tear gas everywhere.
