Amazing how we've all been neutered, isn't it?

Manny will get 4 or 5 years. He has been here 6 in total. He also has shown the kids to leave when a somewhat better offer comes up(temple) so he has helped set that culture.

As for the difference between DNo, Rumph, and a bunch of other Miami coaches over the last 15 years VS Jimmy’s and Saban’s?

Jimmy and Sabans were hired by NFL teams which means GM/Owners/Head coaches respected their ability to implement game plans and adjust them as needed. The NFL margin for error is a ton less than college so coaching should mean less in the pros. This is why Sabans 130 person staff helps improve their margin for error when compounded with elite talent.

If you are going to stick to Bama has the top class 5 years in a row, why is Miami dropping games to FIU? Let me guess, he didn’t have enough talent?

YOU ARE SOME KIND OF ASSHOLE…

WE HAD A COACH IN PLACE AND MANNY HAD A CHANCE TO BE A HEAD COACH…

RICHT DECIDES TO LEAVE AFTER MANNY AGREED TO LEAVE TO BE A HEAD COACH AND MANNY WANTED TO COME BACK TO HIS DREAM JOB…

IN OTHER WORDS HE WANTS TO BE HERE…

REALLY BAD WAY TO SET THE CULTURE…

WORK HARD TO CHASE YOUR DREAMS…

WHO ASKED THIS QUESTION?

YOU BROUGHT UP FORMER MIAMI COACHES AND I ASKED YOU WHAT THEY DID AFTER THEY LEFT BESIDES GETTING HIRED…

STILL NO ANSWER WE BOTH KNOW WHY…

THE SABAN QUESTION WAS WHY IS SABAN’S SUCCESS RATE WITH ALL FIRED COACHES COMING TO HIM 100% SUCCESSFUL?

THIS IS THE MOST ABSURD STUPID THING I HAVE HEARD…

IF THE MARGIN FOR ERROR IS LESS BECAUSE TALENT IS CLOSER HOW WOULD THAT MEAN THE COACHING MARGIN IS LESS?

THAT IS ASS BACKWARDS…

IF TALENT IS CLOSER COACHING MEANS MORE…

WHY DID JIMMY AND SABAN WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED IF HE STAY FAIL WITH THE DOLPHINS?

BECAUSE NEITHER FOUND A FCKEN QB…

SAME THING THAT WOULD HAVE HAPPEN TO BELICHICK IN NEW ENGLAND IF NOT FOR BRADY…

SO WHAT IS YOUR ARGUMENT HERE THAT ALABAMA IS WINNING BECAUSE THEY HAVE AN ARMY OF COACHES?

BECAUSE OUR KICKER SUCKED AND OUR QB WHO IS NO WHERE WAS PARTYING THE NIGHT BEFORE A GAME…

ONE GOOD KICKER WOULD HAVE FLIPPED 3 GAMES THAT FIRST YEAR…

BUT HEY COACHING…

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS ARGUMENT YOU REALIZED HOW STUPID IT IS?

FYI GOLDEN HAS BEEN A POSITION COACH ON NFL TEAMS SINCE HE LEFT…

MUST BE BECAUSE HE CAN’T COACH FUNDAMENTALS AFTER ALL OF YOU RAVED ABOUT HIS TEMPLE STAFF COACHING FUNDAMENTALS…

You couldn’t see sarcasm if it punched you in the face.

I’m playing with you because you are so blinded by your own argument.

Year 3: 14-11.

One win over a ranked team: UVA.

Losses to FIU, Duke, GT, la tech. You telling me those losses come down to a kicker? None of those teams have half the talent of Miami! Don’t play that BS game of a kicker is why Miami lost to bottom half talented teams. Miami is a top 25 talent team and this year it is likely a top 15 talent team. There is no reason we should lose another game until we play Clemson. Of course, I fully expect them to drop at least one more.

YOU GUYS ACT LIKE YOU DON’T WATCH ANY CFB…

You really don’t want to start looking at almost lost games. Manny has a bunch of those, too.

17-12 vs Central Michigan
16-12 vs Pitt
19-14 vs uva
44-41 vs ncst
25-24 vs VT

Remind me which of those teams had better talent.

So Miami dropped games to teams like Tulane and it was due to a kicker. OU wins them and you point to that as a reason why we should feel good?

OKLAHOMA IS #2 IN THE COUNTRY…

ARE YOU SAYING WE HAVE TALENT TO BE #2 RIGHT NOW?

WHY DOES IT HAPPEN TO THEM WITH SUPERIOR COACHING AND TALENT?

FSU LOST BECAUSE OF THEIR KICKING GAME LAST NIGHT…

THEY MISSED AN EXTRA POINT AND IN OVERTIME THEIR COACHED CALLED A TIME OUT TO REVIEW THE SPOT AND THE KICKER MADE A 50 YARD FIELD GOAL AFTER THE TIMEOUT…

FSU WON THE REVIEW AND THE KICK BECAME A 37 YARD FIELD WHICH THE KICKER MISSED…

BAD COACHING?

ND HAD A CHANCE TO WIN THE GAME WITH 5-8 SECONDS LEFT THEY CALLED A GREAT PLAY AND THEIR SURE HANDED TE DROPPED A BALL RIGHT IN HIS HANDS FOR A CHANGE AT A GAME WINNING FIELD GOAL…

BAD COACHING?

PLAYERS WIN AND LOSE GAMES STOP THE NONSENSE…

THESE ARE 18-22 YEAR OLDS UNLESS YOU ARE STACKED SHIT HAPPENS…

No, it is about basic fundamentals.

You’ll continue to make excuses after every loss hyping yourself up for the next debacle. Watch.

Just so I understand:

These are 18-22yo
It was the kickers fault we lost 3 games
It was the QBs fault we lost FIU, well only because he partied the night before.
OU almost lost to Tulane
ND almost lost to FSU because the TE
Shit happens
Talent only matters if you have enough to make up for the above!

Then you have DJ on the other end:
Coaching fundamentals matters. They suck at tackling because the coaching.

I’m in the middle just taking this all in and being a smartass because you’ll keep on writing. You mean to tell me Miami didn’t have enough talent to beat FIU, LaTech, and Duke even when shit happens? How many NFL players were on the roster for each? how many 5 and 4 star kids for each? Yet, Miami didn’t have enough talent to over come “shit happens.”

I just want better tackling, players on D lining up correctly, and the offense to actually take chances. That draw on 3 and 7 early in the game pissed me off and was a terrible call. From that point on, i knew they were playing it safe.

Personally, can’t take the program seriously anymore until they fire Blake James. You already know the results are going to be crap. I’ll tune in but the second the collapse starts these days I just switch the channel. I’m numb.

What happened Saturday was expected tbh. We created that showing 3 years ago with Diaz not recruiting Lbs, Rumph not recruiting corners, and the staffs complete lack of OL recruiting.

The game passed Miami a long time ago. There isn’t a place for a low budget school to win titles anymore, your recruiting ground doesn’t mean anything when everyone regularly robs it.

The Miami I enjoyed isn’t this Miami. This Miami has underperformed for 15 years and given underperforming these days based on recruits/coaches is simple being competitive for ACC champ just shows how bad things are.

This was done a long time ago.

And some think we are inching closer yet we haven’t landed any great OL classes in years. DL classes are spotty. CB could be somewhat resolved with ‘22. LB isn’t looking like it will get resolved by pure LBers.

The issue isn’t Miami. It is the ncaa and ESPN. It is easier for them to just have 5-8 teams that could make it to the CFP with 2-3 having real chances. What happens with Nick retires? Does Dabo jump to Bama and continue the winning or do we see some parity? I doubt we see parity until NIL levels the playing field If at all.

Like I said it’s not any easy pill to swallow, but honestly Miami is just a middle of the road team and will continue to be…

8-4 maybe 9-3 and another lackluster ass whooping in a no nothing meaningless bowl game.

Wash.rinse.repeat…

I believe momentum is very important in college football. Miami needs to start winning. Get to 4-1 abd see if Manny can get the Mack truck off of him. Miami needs to win the coastal and play Clemson. They need to get the next Qb snaps and passes so they can flash the future. Lastly, win a bowl game and sign a top 10 class.

NOT ACCORDING TO THE CHIP KELLY EXAMPLE…

You don’t think Chip is trying to build momentum? UCLA isn’t going to win it all this year. Chip is trying to win games to have a better story to sell recruits, donors, season ticket holders, coaches.

He just happened to beat a team with better talent, something Miami hasn’t done in a long time.
