Can you please just cite his testimony in court where he admits what you said he admits or says what you said he says?
It’s pretty simple to do. There’s this cool feature called copy and paste. Thanks.

Show me where in the Constitution it says that your 1st Amendment is contingent upon producing financial or any other types of documents a court demands.
Would love to see this.
You guys are so easy to destroy on the legal arguments. Just a bunch of simpletons when it comes to the law.
I’m assuming someone is conflating morality with legality, is my best guess. The fact that a christian would morally agree is laughable at the onset, but I’m just a heathen.
The level of narcissism in you is remarkable. You not only think your opinion, a sleazeball NJ salesman, supersedes actual judges, but reality itself. You know how we know? It happened.
September 2021 - A Texas judge enters a default judgment finding Jones liable for defamation after he repeatedly flouted court orders and failed to turn over documents to the plaintiffs.
A dishonest question. Default Judgements.
Jones has already lost all three cases by default judgment; the trials are about determining how much money he will pay the survivors.
Jones has spent years fighting his way to the courtroom. He has steadily refused to participate in the discovery process for each of the three lawsuits — the court-mandated part of the case where the prosecution and defense have to turn over all relevant documentation to their opponent. Because of his lack of cooperation, all three judges eventually ruled after years of delays that Jones was liable to pay damages to the families.
The current jury trial, which began in Austin on July 26, is not to rule upon Jones’s liability — that’s settled — but rather to determine what Jones’s years of lies about the families are worth. (Earlier this year, Jones attempted to settle one lawsuit with the families by offering them $120,000 each. The families rejected the offer.) At issue are two related probes: how much money Jones owes for direct damages and how much he and Infowars have profited from lying about the shooting.
By refusing to participate in discovery for each trial and thus refusing to disclose his financial information, Jones may have hoped to prevent the courts from determining accurate answers to those questions. He also filed for bankruptcy in April, despite making as much as $50 million annually, in a clear attempt to delay financial judgment in one of the other lawsuits.
But due to a major gaffe from Jones’s lawyers, we now have a glimpse into those answers and a whole lot more. After spending years refusing to disclose documents, Jones’s lawyers last week inadvertently sent the prosecution the entire contents of Jones’s phone, including years of texts and emails. This led to a bombshell courtroom reveal from the plaintiffs’ lawyer, Mark Bankston, on Wednesday, the final day of arguments in the case.
“Did you know that 12 days ago, your attorney messed up and sent me a digital copy of your entire cellphone with every text message you have sent for the past two years?” Bankston asked Jones. “That is how I know you lied to me.”
Bankston alleged that Jones’s lawyer, F. Andino Reynal — who is the 11th attorney Jones has had in the case thus far — had inadvertently sent Bankston the entire contents of Jones’s phone, apparently failed to realize he had done so, and thus did not place any protective measures around the disclosure of their contents. A stunned Jones in response called the revelation Bankston’s “Perry Mason moment.”
Oh - you mean you want me to cite where he admitted the shooting was real and that kids and adults died, after claiming it was all fake for 10 years? Sure:
Can’t wait for you to spin this.
Pretty sure you don’t have a law degree. I’m not saying I do either, but this isn’t hard.
I pray you (and I) never have to lose a child. I pray harder it’s not like this - where after suffering from this unimaginable grief, someone lies about what happened to the point where his followers are threatening to kill you.
Just think about it. You’re DEFENDING this guy. Zero words of sympathy for these families. Congratulations. You must be so proud.
Now go buy more overpriced supplements from him that don’t work. And while you’re at it, enroll in some more TrumpU classes.
Do you have any idea how many trial judges decisions and actions are overturned each year? Legal jurisprudence is not without errors my boy. There’s a reason SCOTUS exists.
Dummy- I’m talking about those 3 trials where he lost, as you say, on default judgement.
Not providing a document to a magistrate doesn’t negate your 1st amendment defense.
Again- if you have evidence in how it does, cite it.
He admitted he lied about the shootings being fake.
End of story.
You realize he explicitly stated that “after meeting the parents” he “changed his opinion.”
That’s my entire point. A change of mind after new information is gathered doesn’t prove a “lie” in the past or an admission of a lie.
It proves that he changed his mind and apologized after getting the new information.
You’re mischaracterizing the entire situation because you want some sort of win.
During the proceedings, Jones admitted that the shooting was “100% real” after initially suspecting that the shooting was staged. Jones said during his testimony that he changed his position after meeting the parents of Sandy Hook victims and that “the media still ran with lies that I said it wasn’t real on air yesterday… They won’t let me take it back. They just want to keep me in the position of Sandy Hook man.”
Don’t you see where you fucked up?
You do that a lot.
First off, I don’t believe anything he says. Second, even if he did, it was too late. Damage already done. He doesn’t get to say “my bad” and everything is ok after the families got (and continue) to get harassed by his less-than-intelligent viewers.
But this doesn’t fit your narrative so you choose to ignore this point.
Thankfully, a jury didn’t.
Fucking up os believing multiple liars. Fucking up is supporting and defending someone as vile as Jones. Hell, Trump is a saint compared to him. Fucking up is harping on and supporting a view that is easily proven to be wrong.
Worst of all, fucking up is knowing you fucked up, and being too stubborn to admit it.
I’ll say it again. You support a man who has stated for YEARS that the murder of babies was faked.
Definitely not on the merits of a sleazeball from NJ in sales
That’s how it works, moron. He lost. He refused to participate. You don’t get to have it your way. You have to follow the rules, which he didn’t, over and over again, and so he lost. Period.
Quite a bit more than not providing a document. I would suggest you read up, but again…no integrity.
You gravitate to the most immoral point or person and latch on. It’s quite interesting. You do have a knack for supporting the very worst people, an example of how you’re the worst of us.
It’s called reality. It happened. Look outside.
No chance, he can’t. He never can
As he should be.
Why, what did Jones do besides give an opinion? Did he physically hurt some one?
Damage already done.
What damage?
Definitely not on the merits of a sleazeball from NJ in sales
Sounds prejudiced to me
Right, wrong or indifferent, the clear goal with the verdict is to make an example of Jones with the high dollar fine.
They want to shut him down forever and destroy him.
I don’t condone anything the guy said, but keep in mind that free speech is called free speech for a reason. We are supposed to protect speech on the margins. It’s not a First Ammendment to protect only the mainstream narrative speech.
Not 100% directed at this case but in general the push is to criminalize speech that doesn’t jive with the accepted narrative. That’s dangerous.
Yeah. Based on how awful Jones is and how he motivated a ton of people to harass these families and threaten to kill them, all based on a lie, he deserves it. What’s the problem?
Again, not all speech is free speech. When it’s a lie and it injures a party, there are consequences.
I haven’t said much about the case. I think Jones is guilty of spreading misinformation but the judgment is unreasonable and unenforceable. I foresee Jones may soon be inclined to commit fraud to protect his assets since this case is far from over. Furthermore, Jones’s career in media has a rather bleak and limited future. To his credit, Jones has broken some big stories in the past, and I have some agreement with his views. However, in general I perceive him as a blowhard vitamin hawking entrepreneur seeking fame and wealth through notoriety. I don’t think he inflicted a billion dollars worth of pain on anyone.
I agree that what he said is abhorrent. $1 Billion though?
We can’t just sue everyone a billion dollars because they lie or we don’t agree with them.
He has a worse penalty than people who literally kill others. Last I checked, no one died as a result of his comments.
Huge libel/slander judgements aren’t unheard of. And I expect a judge on appeal to reduce this amount at some point.
But what you’re not getting is, it’s not just a lie that we don’t agree with. If that’s all it was it wouldn’t fit a legal standard for libel/slander. You have to prove injury.
In this case, these families were harassed by complete strangers. They were sent pictures of dead kids. They were threatened with harm and death. They had to hire private security. Imagine having to bury your 6 year old kid and then for years be harassed by strangers telling you that you were lying about it.
Where is the sympathy for the families?
So if you want me to have any sympathy for this monster who spread this bullshit to enrich himself, you’re not going to find it.
Uhhh….you’re saying a billion dollar judgement is worse than life without parole of the needle? Let’s dial it back a bit.
If this is the standard, and again I’m going on precedent here, people should sue BLM for Billions for all the damage they did and the lives they destroyed etc.
Or how about Senators that have made antisemitic comments?
We can go down this rabbit hole all day if you want.
I think they guy’s comments are disgusting.
I also think the fine is excessive.
Great. Sue them.
If there was harm done as a result, they may have a case.
What’s the problem?
My problem is that you’ve not once shown sympathy or support for these parents who lost their babies. GSC hasnt mention a word either. WTF is going on? All this tells me about a that you support Jones and don’t give a fuck about these kids.
As for the ruling, I think it should be double. And it still wouldn’t be enough. Fuck him.
