Alex Jones

My problem is that you’ve not once shown sympathy or support for these parents who lost their babies. GSC hasnt mention a word either. WTF is going on? All this tells me about a that you support Jones and don’t give a fuck about these kids.[/quote]

Bahahahaha…What a sanctimonious cunt

And how in the hell does one draw that conclusion?

Why would we comment on the kids now? This is about Alex Jones and his comments on the massacre.

I don’t need to talk about something that happened that long ago.

The tragedy was horrific and I feel for the families. Does that make you feel better?

You have a problem staying on topic and arguing with logic.

This is about right coming from you and those who support Jones.

Neither does Alex Jones. But you certainly have no problem defending Jones talking about something that happened that long ago.

Somehow this rings hollow.

Staying on topic and arguing with logic? How so? I’ve explained the legal reasoning. And it’s logical to feel terrible for the family and feel nothing for that POS.

The truth is you don’t give a fick about those kids or the families and (for some unknown reason) have a hard on for Jones. It’s pretty obvious.

Not sure what you mean. But anyway- 7-20% of appeals are successful (depending on nature of suit).

Appeals are typically procedural in nature or challenge the applicability of the actual law in some way…

If appeals were allowed to be made on the actual decisions of judges alone, the appeal rate would be even higher.

We have a good legal system, better than the remainder of the world, but it’s still highly flawed.

This isn’t necessarily true. Have you read this court’s procedural rules regarding discovery?

After looking at the case there are actually a few different issues that can be brought up on appeal aside from the 1st amendment issue. I hope they do it.

Yes, let this be known and proudly spread loudly. This is what will continue to happen to the LIARS who fabricate reality instead of owning up to the situation.

You would promote it to this level. Because you support the loser who is in court. You support the conspiracy king because you are a disciple of his.

If it gets to this level of response, then he’s done something wrong to begin with. You fail to comprehend this basic tenant of reality because you don’t live in reality

Bahahaha ^^^^^.

Look at this fucking cunt’s meltdown

Start your own thread about Sandy Hook kids ya fucking idiot.

WOW

From whose point of view? A sheep’s?

Yes, let this be known and proudly spread loudly. This is what will continue to happen to the LIARS who fabricate reality instead of owning up to the situation.

Jesus Christ? And Trump was the “dictator” here huh? True colors being shown here. The true fascist has revealed himself? Why stop with 4 billion? How about firing squad? Better yet a public crucifixion?

Taking notes @thre305ive@Warden84? So who is the wack job extremist on this site?

Also…What shall we do about those who told us the vaccine stops spread? Do they get the same treatment for lying…I’ll wait.

There are some sick fucking people on this board.

How does this

And it’s logical to feel terrible for the family and feel nothing for that POS.

Turn into

The truth is you don’t give a fick about those kids or the families and (for some unknown reason) have a hard on for Jones. It’s pretty obvious.

This^^^

Reel it in you maniacs

Completely unhinged. DJ and Canes 51 argue with emotion.

That’s all they have.

Why $1 Billion, why not $1 quintillion?

You let emotion get in the way of everything and just start spewing nonsense.

I can think it is the most horrific tragedy in our nation’s history and still think the fine is excessive and not consistent with fining others.

Or are you not capable of nuance?

The two aren’t mutually exclusive you idiot. When you go all emotion you lose the argument.

Uh, again, no. Sure - what he did is repugnant and I think most of society agrees.

I’ve also laid out the literal legal reasoning that the families were damaged, how Jones is responsible and how he can be ordered to give them something as a result.

This isn’t hard. What I fail to understand is how GSC has mentioned NOTHING in regards to the families Jones has tormented, and you have only made a passive comment on it (“I can feel bad for the families…”) - yet 99% of your focus is on how you think Jones was wronged here.

I guess I’ll have to be a broken record here since it’s not sinking in yet. I’ll try again.

  • I’ve said multiple times that the guy’s comments are disgusting.
-I’m not against a lawsuit in this case for defamation
-The fine seems incredibly excessive, especially when considering other cases of inflammatory language that are arguably responsible for more suffering and death.
-The high dollar fine is worrisome to me because I see it as a symptom of a bigger push by Big Tech and the government to sensor speech they don’t like. It’s not free speech if it’s not defended at the margins.
-This can be a completely separate topic from the horrific tragedy and the fact that we can feel horrible that it happened but also address this independently of that tragedy.

Is there no dollar figure that is too much? I’ll ask again, if a billion is ok for a case where no one died as a result. You said suffering and harassment. Suffering and harassment is really bad, but it’s not death.

We can start the slippery slope and fine everyone millions and billions if it’s Monopoly money, right. BLM leaders should be sued for billions based on the lies they spewed and death and destruction they caused during the summer of love, right?

Who is pushing to criminalize speech and where is that being done and by whom? The only examples I can think of someone using the power of the government to shut down speech is DeSantis and Disney and DeSantis and teachers.

Big Tech didn’t issue the ruling or play a role in the trials, any of the 4 trails.
Again, free speech relates to being punished by the government for speech. You, instead, cite terms of service policies by private companies.
Can you cite a single example of the government attacking free speech? I can, by Republicans.

What lies? Do tell

But, you don’t. There have been other judgements of $1 billion and I’ve not once seen you comment on them. Why are you so provoked to defend Alex Jones?

In fact, I don’t recall you being up in arms on any verdict of any kind, except this one. You seem quite triggered in your “non-defense” defense of Alex Jones

You’re entitled to your opinion Indiana that it’s excessive - and I do believe it’ll be reduced (a reduction in these cases is fairly common).

I have mine in that it’s exactly what he deserves.

I just find it odd that you’re spending most of your time defending this clown, at very least with respect to the ruling.
