You knew this was coming skeet

Dude was anti-mask and anti-vaccine, leading several angry groups and spouting nonsense.

“I care more about freedom than I care about your personal health.”

Dude got sick…

Didn’t want to get a covid test so he wouldn’t add to the statistics…

Treated himself with Iverectum…

Got really sick and went to the hospital and died of covid at 30.

And there was just a story that Joe Rogan was cured in 3 days using Ivermectin. Soooooo…. Yea…. Who cares?

I’m not commenting on the Iverectum so much, just the whole shit show.

I just don’t understand these posts. Do you really feel bad for him or think he’s killing thousands of people by his stance?

If people follow him and die it’s their choice, right?

Or are you deep down gloating like some on the left (disgusting) because you want anti-vaccine folks to die?

Indiana - you’re smarter than this. I’m not blaming him for deciding not to get vaccinated - although I’ll say there’s a 99.9% chance he’d be alive if he were vaccinated.

Idiots like him are spreading all this false information and convincing others - with no evidence - that the vaccine is bad. It doesn’t make any sense.

I’ve got a family friend who’s father - overweight, diabetes and a cancer survivor - has refused to get the vaccine because he listened to idiots like this guy.

Take a wild guess what happened? He got COVID, is currently in the hospital and it’s not looking good.

For the life of me - I don’t understand this obsessive paranoia that this vaccine is bad and that the government is out to get you.

You won’t take the vaccine but would support taking another (unproven) substance to treat it?

So many of these severe illnesses/hospitalizations and deaths are not necessary. We have the thing that literally prevents all that.

For some, like me, it has nothing to do with fear. It’s principle.

You may call it principle. I call it foolish. At least when it comes to the vaccine.

People can look at the stats and make the best decision for themselves. If they don’t get it and die that’s their call.

And in terms of the vaccine being good or bad, we have absolutely no idea what it will do to you in 10-15 years. There is no way the testing process could prove that. Now, if you think your life is in imminent danger if you don’t get it then of course you get the vaccine.

The risk/reward analysis is different for everyone.

I’m not gloating, but neither do I feel especially bad. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes, right? There are much more unfortunate people deserving of empathy.

What gets me about these guys is not that they died after refusing to vaccinate, it’s that they were so militant about not vaccinating. They thought covid was a myth, they thought the doctors were lying, they thought everything was a conspiracy.

On top of that, each of these guys was a loudmouth. Essentially, they were Stormfront, shamelessly and PURPOSELY spreading propaganda for the sole purpose of politics. (And yes, even I know Storm doesn’t believe everything he says. He’s an eternal partisan, like canebill, who will never admit defeat.) His sole purpose is to curry favor for his guy, facts be damned.

So the reason I’m posting these cases is because these dumbasses decided to make a virus political, and this is what happens when you do that.

I see where you are coming from now.

Rogan didn’t use JUST ivermectin. His treatments also included monoclonal antibodies, Z-pack antibiotics, and a vitamin drip. He is also in pretty good health compared to most so why through the kitchen sink at it? I mean some of that shit has some pretty nasty side effects.

I just had Covid in early August and took nothing. 3-4 days of sinus issues, then a couple of weeks of exhaustion. No treatments needed. Pfizer fail (less than 3 months after getting fully vaccinated).

I thought these weren’t supposed to work on Delta?

This is true - and part of that process is looking at similar vaccines and what their long term effects have been.

Glad you pulled through ok. Did you go to the doctor and did they really not prescribe any treatment at all?

It amazes me people would rather try something that’s proven only on horses before getting vaccinated.

When I got tested (Baptist hospital in South Florida) they offered them after I tested for Delta. They said it was the best treatment available and worked for most people. I declined them as I only wanted to get tested to avoid giving Covid to my family. My BMI is 26 due to muscle mass.

Antidotal to Baptists’ approach but that is a massive healthcare system.

But I thought all known antibodies were ineffective against delta? I thought that was the reason people are getting infected?

I’m assuming this isn’t an all or nothing scenario.

They work on some delta some of the time? The fuck?

I was positive in March 2020 (fucking sucked). 3 weeks, bad pneumonia, 3 months to really recover.

Pfizer March/April

delta positive early August.

Thus, anyone that says natural antibodies work, i would have to disagree. Anyone that says Pfizer works, I have to disagree. J&j is by far the worst. Moderna and Novavax are the best hope of a real vaccine and pardon me for any distrust of the vaccines now.

The best answer: don’t lay down for too long with Covid. Instead, rest upright to avoid pneumonia. I also walked some during this round to force movement. Just my antidotal approach compared to 2020.

Both were caught traveling. March 2020 at a conference with someone that ended up in the ICU and around hundreds of thousands traveling along with at a running event. August 2021, south Florida and Puerto Rico with lots of time in airplanes.
