If you’re referring to the Silicon Valley take over by regulators…. Those guys (the banks) did it to themselves. They put the majority of their cash in T bills and CD’s and then couldn’t fund deposits. Completely dumb move in an environment with interest rates predictably on the rise for the foreseeable future.
When depositors came they were short and were forced to then liquidate bonds that were now less valuable due to rising rates and had to sell them at losses to fund deposits.
Whatever executives approved that financial strategy should be in jail.

I see no WW3 because the West is unwilling to fight. This is especially true among Europeans. Ukraine cannot win nor can NATO. As I have said frequently, the Russians have built the most powerful land army ever assembled and possess superior military technology in several areas, especially in missile defense. To win, the West would have to unleash is nuclear arsenal which is tantamount to global Doomsday. Presently, the U.S. has nearly run out of artillery shells and bullets and is even asking Israel to send us these items so we can replenish shortages in Ukraine. There is no shortage of bullets in Russia.
The Republicans will not win 2024. The election will be stolen again, and if Michelle Obama decides to run, she’ll win. Trump will not be the Republican Party nominee; it will be DeSantis. Democrats will finally win a court case against Trump. While I believe Trump deserves another term, I will support DeSantis whom I think has a better chance to prevail with Trump out of the race. DeSantis has been far more successful against the Wokesters than Trump has been.
