It’s not about vaccines in general, but the requirement for the COVID vaccines that’s crazy, when most areas of society have moved on. Our military would rather keep it in place and lose folks like this guy who is willing to risk his life to save others.

What does this mean?
Has society moved on from the flu? From measles? Because those vaccines are required as well.
What does “moving on” have to do with a military being vaccinated? It’s like you’re in automatic mode and don’t have an actual argument.
There aren’t many areas of society that I’m aware of still requiring COVID shots. We know a lot more about that virus now and who is effected by it and who isn’t.
Have we not proven that the vaccines were not necessary for most healthy individuals?
The fact that we would turn away potential heroes and willing service members just because they won’t get a shot that is most likely not necessary for them is crazy.
By the way, I think many Republicans agree with me and if the R’s take over the House and Senate, this topic will be in the crosshairs.
Sure, but if the armed forces require other vaccines, why are you singling out the covid one. I didn’t see your rants about influenza vaccines.
My point is this is par for the course with the military. A bunch of dudes in constant close quarters with each other tend to infect each other, and the armed forces get them vaccinated and protected.

For young and healthy people, in general, it’s pretty much the common cold.
Kicking people out of the military when you could really use them because they aren’t up to date on the COVID shot is pretty crazy.
I see it differently than other vaccines.
The good news is that a lot of politicians agree with me and it will likely change if Republicans take Congress.
Fingers crossed that happens and a lot of this insanity goes away.
