Woke Religion: A Taxonomy

Dr. Peter Boghossian recently resigned from Portland State University, finding the venue riddled with woke totalitarianism and intolerance. Dr. Boghossian is a liberal in the classical sense which today would make him in many ways conservative. A professor of philosophy, an atheist, Professor Boghossian nevertheless allows dissent, free inquiry, and uncensored discourse in his courses. Small wonder he has fled Portland State.

Professor Boghossian is especially critical of wokism which he opines has become a highly structured, dogmatic, and intolerant religion embraced by leftist muttonheads. To this end, Dr. Boghossian has created a Taxonomy of Wokenessl which I think is very helpful in summarizing major components of what we call wokeism. Perusing this taxonomy, I think of the posts of Warden and Djrion who are the least tolerant posters in this forum and quickest to call those who disagree with their woke principles “racists” and “white supremacists.”
