If they fire him, it will probably be after the new AD starts. So, it may take awhile.
Unless they have some really rich boosters that want him gone immediately, I don’t think we will see any abrupt action. Not sure his firing is even going to happen this season. We’ll see.
I agree - I think the AD gets hired first and they’ll determine whether or not Diaz gets another year.
The unfortunate part of this is the delay in bringing on a new coach. Obviously things can be going on behind the scenes……we’ll see.

As 90’s indicated above, it’s all about the date of the contract. Also - if Manny is dismissed, I’d imagine this wouldn’t happen until after the new AD is hired.
Wonder if they will kick Diaz upstairs to AD when they hire Cristobol away from Oregon.
This would be interesting. Manny is certainly passionate, has good connections, and is innovative.
