What do you think of the NFL’s stance on the vaccine

They plan to disallow reschedules and dock paychecks for the unvaccinated if there are COVID issues. A lot of the players aren’t happy with this and have been vocal on Twitter. Even some like Zeke Elliott who have the vaccine are upset.

I get why they are doing it (money) but I don’t like the move. Corporations and Universities mandating the vaccine are also in the wrong in my opinion.

I used to work in healthcare, and flu shots were required. They’ve been around a long time - and even for those it was torture making some employees get it.

So I fully understand the backlash in people being upset with a required COVID vaccine.

I think it’s really difficult to require something that’s only been given emergency use authorization (not officially approved by the FDA). Hell most hospitals aren’t requiring it.

So yeah - I’m not a fan of it. It’s a bunch of NFL lawyers saying it should be required to mitigate the risk of someone contacting it and dying.
