What I cannot believe is that suddenly we ignore all past precedent in dealing with an epidemic. Up untill Covid, the ones whom we quarantined were the sick and infirm. Now, we have the healthy hiding from the disease and businesses are gone to hell. Where I think we’ve gone wrong started with the leftist political activism preventing hydroxychloroquin since Trump mentioned it might be useful. i think placing our faith primarily in the vaccines while ignoring other therapeutic treatments will prove to be a fatuous mistake. The VARES Reports are more negative relating to the Covid vaccines than any previous vaccines. Evidence is mounting that they not only don’t work, but create other serious problems. Using the population at large as guinea pigs is scientifically unwise and mandating compliance is tyranny.
I myself rushed out stupidly i now think to be one of the first locally to be vaccinated. Here, the elderly were given first priority. I received my second shot in early February. By mid-March, I developed a heart ailment that is still affecting me; I wonder whether I’ll ever be the same. A month ago, I suffered a breakthrough case of Covid. It was like getting run over by a truck. The fatigue was incredible accompanied by loss of smell, taste coupled with constant dizziness. My long time doctor treated me using Skype. My doctor was skeptical of my self-administering hydroxychloroquin, but he was amazed at how the HCQ raised my blood oxygen concentration almost immediately after taking just two doses. My doctor insisted that I get the monoclonal antibodies. He made me an appointment to get them at the center set up by our governor which was two counties away in Okaloosa County near the Eglin AF Base. He told me not to drive which I ignored. Driving over to Okaloosa, I nearly fell asleep at the wheel twice. At the monoclonal center, all employees were dressed head to foot in protective clothing wearing N95 masks. There were several hundred people there, and they did not look healthy at all to me. The doctor I saw there was a Latino fellow from Mexico whom I engaged in quite a conversation. When I told him that I took HCQ, he said I did the right thing but not to quote him on that because it’s just not kosher to take HCQ. He told me I’d be feeling a lot better once I got the four monoclonal jabs, and he was right. One hour after taking the jabs, I regained my sense of smell and the dizziness was gone. Driving home was a cinch. I hadn’t eaten in days, and I stopped at a great Tex-Mex restaurant and ate a huge plate of enchiladas rancheras. Since I was raised by a Mexican family, I still speak rudimentary Spanish from my youth together with having developed a great appreciation for Mexican cuisine.
People have become sick and tired of the lock downs. The Biden Administration has been a huge failure in dealing with Covid. The new variant which is spreading like wildfire against which masks are absolutely worthless is less of a mortality threat than previous variants. People are surviving it the way they survived influenza and colds in the past. Plus,once they recover they then have an increased NATURAL immunity which may protect them from new variants. Meanwhile, new therapeutic drugs are hitting the market. If you’re sick, you stay the hell home. if you are healthy, you go about your life enjoying your freedom and liberty.
