I have been watching recruiting videos of Garcia, and they are wonderful, filled with successful plays. Nevertheless, there were a lot of things missing from Garcia’s films as well as most other recruits. What I didn’t see that I wanted to see was whether or not Garcia can run the football. Does he have speed? He certainly drops back quickly and has a reasonably quick release.
I didn’t see any plays where Garcia failed, made a poor decision, had a pass deflected at the line, missed a wide open receiver, failed to execute a success fake, stumbled over his own feet.
I think it’s important to see these guys at their best and their worst to be able to gauge properly their potential. I recall looking at N’Kosi’s films and thought he was great Same goes for Williams. I never saw them at their worst. Never saw how they handled QB leadership. It’s much better to watch entire games than just highlights.
