Curious if any of you think Biden or his people will speak out against this. My guess is Biden supports such a program.
This bullshit with Biden’s tax bill which will give the IRS significantly more power, and the likelihood of a mileage tax, and dems don’t see anything wrong with any of this. These people aren’t even trying to hide it anymore.
I was gonna say I’d be surprised if either Trump or Biden bothered to comment on topics like this. (This particular idea has been discussed for a few years.)
But then I read about Biden wanting to reform credit history. There’s no mention of browser history, but he talks about taking power away from the Big 3 reporting agencies and including smaller payment history like rent, utilities, streaming services, etc.
If Trump were president, and yahoo reported this I would have started the same thread. This idea of using one’s web history to lower or raise one’s credit score sounds dangerous, don’t you agree 305?

I agree, I don’t like the idea of a social credit system. Credit should be solely based on payment history, current income, etc.
Didn’t know it was discussed in 2018 so difficult to have commented on it. I think Trump dropped the ball by not speaking out against it.
I think Biden should speak out against but he won’t. Biden is much more concerned with other matters like overseeing a fundamental change to our economy that will continue to place the most vulnerable in the most precarious of economic situations: Biden hates blacks, other persons of color, and the poor.
Again, not sure why you keep bringing Trump up whenever Biden falls on his face?

There are some social media warriors that have terrible credit scores. They don’t deserve a better score. They need to pay their bills!!!
I just said, since this idea was first breached during Trump’s presidency, that I doubted either president would comment on it.
But Biden does have a plan for credit history reform so we might actually see him take it on. Let’s hope.
