Thus far, no defender has had a prayer at containing him. It’s really impressive to watch, and Mensah throwing like this is pretty much video game easy mode. It’s worth the watch alone.
This program also tackles SOOO much better than previous iterations. I’ve seen several instances where they force third and shorts etc due to great plays by the first man and swarming. It’s so Miami

Run D has been decent. Pass D sub par at best. Zone gets shredded.
Based on what I’m seeing the zone D has lost the majority of the time it seems. Wake see it, sits, hits it. And tackling has gone completely to shit.
Hetherman needs to get his guys right. This is absurd.
Tackling was really good first 3.5 quarters. Bad the last drive or two. Hopefully picks back up.
This game shows really well how damaging penalties can be to the final score. Needless ones too.
When Wake still only had 7 points, we actually forced a turnover, but a late hit negated it and pushed Wake into another TD.
The double penalties later forced us back, pumped Wake up, and ended up taking away Mensah’s passing record.
Ugh. Lots for the coaches to clean up next week.
Was literally about to say how good tackling has been thus far. One v one. Finishing. Forcing third downs. Etc. It’s gone to pot this quarter.
