Some people might use it to justify late stage abortion, but we’re talking about Harris here. Harris has been very vocal and on the record that she basically wants to bring back the protections of Roe, and she does not want legislation banning something when it can save the life of the mother.
My point is that you’re free to totally disagree with that, but don’t pretend like Harris supports abortion 5 minutes before birth just because a mother has second thoughts.
Look, you guys think I love Harris and I’m defending her or something, but I really just don’t like these political lies and games. That’s all this is. I am not predicting anything about a Harris presidency as far as whether she will be good or bad here.

Personally, I am hoping she is NOT a change candidate and is more or less in line with Biden, so maybe this news is somewhat reassuring.

I’ve lived inside the world of religion and these tropes are common themes, the idea that anyone who doesn’t believe must worship themselves in their arrogance to not bow before our magic man in the clouds. Fact is, you’re just simple minded and not inherently good enough as a person to just be good to others for the sake of it. At your base, you require something in it for yourself.

You are correct. You have no value for people based upon who they are. I devalue people based upon how they act. You could care less about the baby once its born, only that you force the woman to carry out the breeding process. You call legal migrants illegal immigrants and care nothing about them as people, not even to the point of being basically honest. All the while, you pretend you have some moral high ground because you ascribe to quantifiably the most corrupt organization in the written history of mankind. Time and time again, on a daily basis, you show you have no concern for even the most basic of virtues, instead just being a bumper sticker for the most immoral among us.

Your own book clearly talks about life beginning at breath, devalues the fetus as not a person, and the history of your church intricately weaves a complicated view of abortion. 4 of your saints performed abortions of sorts and became Saints for it. It wasn’t until 1869 that your church even formally decided they’re against it at conception.
You don’t give the slightest fuck about “babies.” When Trump’s administration literally stole children and blackmailed the parents to deport themselves so they could see their kid again, only to find out that it was then lost in the US system and they’re back in Mexico…you didn’t give a shit. When your GOP routinely tries to remove things like free lunch at schools you don’t give a shit. Even when people tried to make school lunches healthier, it was Sarah Palin and the GOP bringing cookies and Big Gulps of Pepsi to school in protest. You didn’t fucking care. That’s the funny and revealing part. I hold myself much more accountable than you hold yourself, or you’re Jesus. If you’re a grown man and don’t think you’re lacking in some regard, you’re lying to yourself or don’t have enough care with morality in general to even hold yourself accountable. When I call myself a shitbag, I’m thinking of the time I was 12 and my brother got married and asked me to be the best man and I was grumpy about it and in the pictures. I still physically flinch on how disrespectful that was on a regular basis when he was just extending a nice gesture to his little brother. I’m thinking of when I didn’t spend that extra hour with my Dad when I knew he was lonely, but 3 hours with an 82 yr old man is really a lot. I’m thinking of all the times I could have been even a smidge better than I was and it bothers me terribly, very regularly. I hold myself quite accountable.
