Fuente already gone, Diaz on his way out of the door.
A battle of dead coaches walking.
Miami favored by a touchdown.
Any case Diaz has for keeping his job goes out the window if he loses this game at home.
Even if he wins out, it seems likely he will be fired by the new AD. I hope Miami hangs on to him until they secure another coach. He is better than nothing. I have a feeling many of the rumored candidates will say thanks but no thanks.
This is a hard game to predict, Both teams have played well at times and poorly at times. Va Tech lost its coach, and Miami is likely in the process. I think the oddsmakers have it right. Miami will prevail. Miami really should have won its last game. I blame last game’s loss on coaching not the team. TVD continues to play pretty well. Miami wins 28-17,
I still can’t believe that Manny only rushed 3 on 4th and 14 … and had the secondary covering zones instead of aggressively covering receivers. Really stupid, cost Miami the game and will probably get him fired.
Everybody should be watching this game. Against VT we look like the 2001 team. We are manhandling them. We even got a delayed OLine push into the end zone.
I hope the next coach keeps this uptempo spread attack. I have really enjoyed watching the offense the past 2 years for the first time since Whipple was here.
I agree. Regardless of whether it touched the ground or not, which is probably though there’s no video evidence, he slid out of bounds while the ball was loose in his lap.
LOL, Mad, that crossed my mind too. Wonder how much he’s being paid.
