So you don’t trust them until they say the things that you want and go after the people you consider enemies? Do I have that right?
None of that makes sense. At what point did we make the claim we didn’t trust Ukraine? You don’t trust Ukraine and celebrate Russia. The rest of us don’t…well, non-right wingers. You right wingers appear to adore Orban and Putin quite a bit.
The Ukraine situation is much like the Middle East. In Syria for example, your choice for support is between Assad and ISIS-like militant groups, so choosing Assad is supporting the best among worst. What compels me to support Russia is that a great number of Russians in Ukraine were left without a native country when the Soviet Union fractured. Certainly the Donbas is Russian as is Crimea and all along the Black Sea including the city of Odessa and Kherson Oblast Kharkov, Ukraine’s second largest city is predominantly Russian. Additionally, the Nazi military groups in Ukraine must be destroyed. Not even MSM propaganda can hide the fact that from the beginning Ukraine was doomed to failure even when pitted against third tier troops of the world’s most powerful army. The strategy of Russia has been geared more to destroying the Ukrainian military rather than destroying its major cities. At any given time, the Red Army could have bombed Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa, Dnipro, or Zaporozhye into submission.
Now the West has to come up with a reason to stop the conflict before its economic impact destabilizes NATO countries. The main obstruction to a settlement is of course Biden’s stupidity. There would have been no war had Trump not been swindled out of an election victory. Trump was a master of foreign policy while Biden is thought of, certainly by my league of European contacts, as a mentally-challenged fool whose entire political history is marked by an extremely poor sense of judgment. My Russian friends think American are chumps for allowing such an obviously rigged election and installing an idiot to lead the Western World. Nevertheless, I am much surprised how many of you in this forum whose intellect is of relatively high level fail to understand this issue having been brainwashed for so many decades to regard Russia instead of China as our chief nemesis
You recall that Tulsi Gabbard was cited by me as a rising star in the Democrat Party. I made this prediction based on the continuum of sanity of members of the Democrat Party. Tulsi’s stock is going to ascend considerably since the rejection of wokism is intensifying. Telsi is actually quite sane, aesthetically pleasing, and is on the right side of the two most salient issues: the economy and immigration.
Why would you trust them lol?
Russians adore Putin as they should. He has been a great leader of the Russian people. When I lived in Moscow, there was only one modern building, the Armand Hammer Center. Now the skyline is adorned by new skyscrapers. The same is true in Rostov. Russia has grown great under Putin as the U.S. did under Trump.
