I’m currently trying to look into the soccer collapse thing…Because I play basketball with people much younger than me to the point of exhaustion. Some of my conspiracy theorist friends kept sending me stuff. It all seemed fishy to me, and I pointed out how poorly the reports were written and that 1-2 of the original 7-8 collapse videos were from before covid and we don’t know who was vaccinated and who isn’t…and I see that “fact checkers” have said Fifa comes out and denies that more worldwide soccer players are collapsing
What I want to see is more than 3-4 examples out of the 80 or so that have been “reported”…And a direct quote from Fifa (Not a fact checker saying Fifa said)…Why are they collapsing and NBA players aren’t?
I would be doing all of this with more urgency instead of just checking for updates every 2-3 weeks if I was worried about covid of course…I just don’t give two shits whether or not I get it. I’m not licking public water fountains, but I’m not worried about it one bit. In the meantime I take a multiple vitamin daily…And then an extra zinc and drop of vitamin d twice a week. I didn’t do the vitamin D thing during the warm months. Has this contributed to me not getting covid as I started this during fall or winter of last year I believe? Possibly…Because it is crazy to me that I haven’t gotten covid as even during surges I’ve played poker and basketball with people who ended up having it. I thought I was finally going to get it as my brother and his wife just had it and I sat right next to them at thanksgiving dinner, but alas I still did not contract it. But I do consider getting the vax…I’d probably get laid more, as it seems like many women are running to get it and a big “fan” of it.

Oddly, I’ve never gotten it either and did jiujitsu with Brazilians who don’t give a shit about it for a year and a half, 4-5 times a week, and never got it. We had 3 outbreaks in the gym. Never got it. One night 2 different dudes I rolled with tested positive the next day. 8 minute rolls, 30 seconds off, 2 sets with each. You’d think I’d have gotten it for sure.
I’m not the vaccine champion. I simply don’t care who gets it and doesn’t, outside of my Dad bc he’s old.
As for getting laid. Come to Dallas. Not difficult. DallasCanes and I will take you out. We are kind of old, though, at this point. I don’t think I’ve gone drinking in 2-3 years.

I’m hoping at some point they learn more about why certain people haven’t gotten it…But it’s hard to trust any info from anyone. You are probably even more extreme than me being around people who have had it. But ya like I said they only shut down my basketball group March thru May 2020…And about 5 weeks Dec 2020 (so maybe I would have gotten it then as that’s when cases were the highest) but I literally sat at poker games for hours the past year…Poker games are not always with the healthiest type of people to begin with.
And yes I advised my mom to get the vax…The booster shit seems like a scam to me (or at an innocent level, a big question mark at least) so that’s up to her.

Also, my business partner had a thought about Omicron. The world or nature has a tendency to level things out. Maybe the Omicron variant is mild in symptoms but very contagious as a method for us to get it and develop antibodies more safely as it’s just something that’ll be around.

I haven’t gotten the vaccine and neither has anyone in my family and none of us has gotten COVID. And we’ve been living normally and out in public since last summer. You would have thought we’d have gotten it by now since we’ve been around folks with COVID.
I’ve played basketball, gone to concerts and conventions and sports and been in close contact with thousands of people over that time.
Definitely strange.
Most of the people that I personally know that have gotten COVID have the vaccine.
