It’s no surprise the time period he keeps referring back to was marked by abhorrent labor conditions, staggering wealth inequality, dangerous jobs with no regulations, higher disease and infant mortality rates, corporations using Pinkertons to literally murder workers who wanted to organize for better wages and working conditions, child labor, etc. This was the time that LED to all of the labor movements, fights, strikes for worker’s rights that we find are under attack again today.

Yeah, the jobs report was pretty good, which is what makes the stock drop so astounding. Wall Street had its worst day since covid IN SPITE OF that jobs report. Think about that.
Also worth pointing out that the jobs report is from BEFORE this tariff business. We’re talking February, so it’s unlikely any Trump policies are specifically boosting that period.
I mean, if you take responsibility for the jobs report, you take responsibility for the economy. You can’t blame one on Biden and take credit for the other, so pick your poison.
