The audits scope of work wasn’t to come to a conclusion on fraud.
It was to find ANOMALIES in the numbers or with the ballots and report them for further investigation.
It did that. The AG has issued subpoenas and has launched an investigation.

The total number of votes means nothing in an election audit. Same way the total number of dollars in a financial audit would mean nothing.
The point of the audit is to validate each vote same way the point of a financial audit would be to validate each dollar.
The totals are still under scrutiny because the audit teams raised questions about voter id, chain of custody, and other things that could potentially cause a ballot to be spoiled.
That’s why the AG is looking now. He has much greater power to examine because if they refuse his subpoena, he throws them in jail until they comply.
