Were it not for Trump, the vaccines might have been delayed for years. When everything shakes out Trump will go down as Jonas Salk as one of the greatest savior of lives of any person on the planet. Tax payers from many countries funded these vaccines. Big pharma developed them based off of decades of research. Some of these didn’t even opt into trumps project. Multiple vaccines from other countries were developed in the same timeframe. Last checked, Trump isn’t a research scientist.
Trump did what I would have expected any president do, fund big pharma in developing vaccines. Are you giving the CDC or the FDA any credit?

And by the way- I’m not a fan of the operation. I don’t think this vaccine was necessary, I don’t believe it is effective, and I’m scared of the potential side effects we’ll see.
But Trump, as usual, did what he thought was right contingent upon political pressures.

Trump deserves another Nobel nomination for Operation Warp Speed. He will be remembered as the greatest savior of lives in medical history. It wouldn’t have happened without the genius of Donald Trump. Trump deserves the admiration of people around the globe. Much to the chagrin of liberals, Trump deserves the accolades of thankful people everywhere.
The racists are on all day long on MSNBC. They believe in conferring greater rights on one race over all others. They believe in affirmative action, giving extra consideration to race both in academia and in the work place. Liberals are the racists among us, and they are fascist racists. They favor censorship, cancelling, imposing ridiculous microaggressions, burning cities, tolerance of looting, lying about the nature of Antifa, exhorting violence. Tucker Carlson is in no way racist. He exposes racism and unfairness, and he rejects liberal malarkey. Small wonder he is so popular. His editorials are sublimely crafted and he delivers them with panache. Compared to liberals on MSNBC, he could be likened to Sir Galahad, the apotheosis of purity.
I credit Trump and his team for the development of the vaccines so quickly.
But he is absolutely no savior. His behavior (downplaying the seriousness for months, discouraging mask wearing, refusing to let the doctors speak frankly, and pressuring states to ease restrictions prematurely) literally cost the loss of life that didn’t need to happen.
I feel like we’re close to being out of this mess, but we’re getting out despite him.
