I said 99% (I was referring to the English language that we speak which is relevant in this discussion). You asked me to prove it. Which indicates or infers you don’t believe it’s true.
English is an extremely borrowed language my friend. As said, even Olde English is a distinct language and has its own words borrowed from Germanic, Nordic, and Celtic languages.
