I wish they would have brought witnesses out as it would have prevented the LEFT from accomplishing anything during that time.
The entire trial was ridiculous. The Democrats had no evidence, none, not in a legal sense It was nearly as big of a travesty as the so-called insurrection which in a measured sense was insignificant compared to the leftist burning of cities and doing billions of dollars worth of damage.
Trump was not guilty of anything. Just like the rest of us, Trump is protected by the First Amendment. The impeachment itself was ridiculous, without due process, and unconstitutional.
No wonder the Chief Justice wanted no part of it. He’s have had to dismiss the case when the first motion was filed for denial of due process. End of case.
Trump’s Philadelphia lawyer made fools of the Democrats. It was a clear-cut resounding victory. Democrats were smart enough to reject calling witnesses. They needed to put a stop to proceedings before they got out of hand, and there is no way in hell another impeachment of Trump is going to take place. That’s all political theater. Won’t happen.
