Eh. The fact that banda left and rumph was fired leads me to believe that baker is no longer the dc – Banda was the only person worth keeping on the D and him gone means everything is shaken up on that side. I think Baker is just waiting until the new dc is named to leave or accept a demotion. Gut feeling says Patke stays but only does STs.

I’m guessing it’s a slow mercy move. Resign, or found a new job type thing as this unfolds.
Hope you are right. Find a job until we bring the new guy or get fired / demoted at that time

Patke for all the hate did get the most of Finley, has a Safety playing LB, completely flipped the ST from one of the worst in the country to best to top 25 or better. Yes, it took an AA kicker and punter. The real test is 2021 and 2022 replacing them.

Saw that Miami was considering TRob for DB coach. Certainly a recruiting upgrade over Rumph…

Now whatever do you mean? I’ve been told Rumph is a phenomenal coach and his recruiting failures due to Banda and Diaz refusing to let him offer people. You’ll see once he gets a prime gig.
