First let’s recognize the massive legal flaw in erecting this statute. It WILL be challenged and since the state makes a claim of personhood and rights they now MUST defend that element in court. I don’t think they can because there’s always the alternative view and neither can be proven.
But not only that. I believe it’s intent is malicious. There are some women in this position simply don’t know what to do. They are afraid, emotional, and in need of expert consultation. We shouldn’t make them criminals. (I’m not referring to the vermin who abort babies like they go to lunch each week…. Perhaps they should, but I digress).
I would only support criminal charges against professionals who conduct the procedures.
