56% of respondents can’t think of a single thing that Biden has done that is good. But the moderates 305 and 51 can’t think of anything he’s done wrong.
I’m not real sure what he’s done, either. Then again, he didn’t try to dismantle the Constitution, stoke an insurrection, promise traitor criminals pardons if they vote for him, lie on a daily basis, attack our allies while defending and cozying up to dictators, etc.
If the only way you can be right is to lie, that’s not really being right.
The Afghanistan pullout was very poorly handled.
I also think Biden has failed to appeal to Pubs and centrists like Manchin.
Manchin is not a centrist. Manchin is making money for himself and his family and that’s literally it. Sinema is not a centrist either. She realized if she fucks it all up, she’ll get a hot job from a GOP donor after office. Biden, himself, is about as centrist as you can get
Hey if one can get paid for taking a stand against absurdity…More power to him.
Funny how you go after someone’s integrity and accuse of them of stunts when they disagree with your progressive delusions
You are just so far whacked out left (partisan sheep) moderate left is centrist and moderate right is the kkk
And in turn…Djrion makes you look moderate.
You clearly don’t know how to read.
I’d argue no one could have done better. I’d also argue big balls to do it.
You’d lose the argument. Trump was very successful in the realm of foreign policy. He certainly would not have abandoned Bagram Air Base before evacuating Americans. Nor would Trump have allowed 80 billion dollars worth of military hardware to fall into the hands of the Taliban.
Biden is an abject failure and caters to the Marxist leftists in his party. It’s no wonder that a wide majority of people cannot name a single achievement of Biden’s Administration. Biden is so incompetent that calls for his resignation will resonate throughout the nation, and I predict he is driven from office before his term elapses. I think Biden is well on his way eclipsing Obama as being this nation’s worst president. No one has shown greater disdain for law than Biden, particularly in his Open Border strategy to win new voters by dint of demographics. The chaos at the border is truly criminal, and the drug lords now operate our immigration system.
How ironical it is to watch the leftist Democrats scurrying to the center, realizing that their wokism will lead to losing elections. The most painful things to the average Americans are high energy costs and high food prices. Hang on, it’s going to get worse.
I mean…You’d be a partisan sheep fucking idiot to do so. But the whole word, much more in touch with reality than your partisan sheep ass…Would laugh in your face
Impossible to prove or disprove. But the President’s tanking poll numbers are in part attributed to the horrendous withdrawal.
False, another lie.
Trump was one of the very worst in foreign policy, hence being ranked at the bottom 3 Presidents. It was Trump who forced the government of Afghanistan to release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners in order to BEGIN talks with the Taliban, an agreement Trump made on Feb 29, 2020 in Doha, Qatar. There were several conditions Trump agreed to, first being that the US would withdraw from Afghanistan by May 1, 2021. Of course, Trump did not consult with or include the Afghanistan government in these talks or decisions.
As of August 2020, the Afghan government had released all but 400 Taliban prisoners, each of whom had been accused of major crimes. That same month, the Afghan government held a special grand assembly, called Loya Jirga. Before the meeting, Trump Sec of State Mike Pompeo urged the Afghan government to release the remaining prisoners. On Aug 9, 2020, at the urging of Trump and Pompeo, the remaining 400 were released.
That paved the way for the Trump surrender of 09/12/2020.
Let’s also not forget, Trump got the Taliban leader Mulla Abdul Ghani Barader released from a Pakistani prison in 2018.
With regards to leaving the equipment there as opposed to shipping it back - has been a regular thing for decades.
Also, another lie
“The $80 billion figure does not reflect the amount of equipment acquired by the Taliban after America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. Rather, this number reflects the amount of money the United States spent to train and equip military forces in Afghanistan over the previous two decades.”
“The U.S. provided an estimated $83 billion worth of training and equipment to Afghan security forces since 2001. This year, alone, the U.S. military aid to Afghan forces was $3 billion.
Putting price tags on American military equipment still in Afghanistan isn’t an easy task. In the fog of war – or withdrawal – Afghanistan has always been a black box with little sunshine.”
_Forbes
" Two incorrect assumptions have led to the claim that the U.S. left more than $80 billion worth of equipment behind. The first, as noted above, is that this $80 billion figure deals solely with military equipment. That’s not the case. Only about $20 billion of this money went to military equipment.
The second false assumption is that every piece of equipment that was provided to Afghan military forces was left behind as the United States withdrew from the area. But that’s also not the case. The U.S. military took a lot of equipment out of country before the withdrawal. In May 2021, for example, the U.S. military took “70 plane loads” of equipment out of Afghanistan. In 2015, $7 billion worth of equipment was destroyed.
For equipment that couldn’t be moved out of country, they tried to destroy or disable it. Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, the head of U.S. Central Command, said during a press conference on Aug. 30, 2021:
It’s a complex procedure — it’s a complex and time-intensive procedure to break down those systems. So we demilitarized those systems so that they’ll never be used again. And they were just a — we felt it was more important to protect our forces than to bring those systems back.
We have also demilitarized equipment that we did not bring out at of the airport that included a number of MRAPs — up to 70 MRAPs that we demilitarized that will never be used again by anyone; 27 Humvees, that little tactical vehicle, that will never be driven again.
And additionally, on the ramp at — at HKIA are a total of 73 aircraft. Those aircraft will never fly again when we left. They’ll never be able to be operated by anyone. Most of them were non-mission capable, to begin with, but certainly they’ll never be able to be flown again."
As for the rest, like always, not even worth reading. You haven’t an honest bone in your body
What’s your feeling on Trump forcing the release of the Taliban leader, then 5000 Taliban prisoners without consulting the Afghanistan government, then essentially surrendering?
