Beat a crippled Clemson… Struggle with BC… looked pedestrian all season… now barely beating Cuse.

They always get the love no matter what. I hope a full strength Clemson wipes the floor with them.
They’ve picked it up against Cuse but the point still stands. They just don’t impress me.
If I’m ranking everyone - Clemson is still above them. So is Ohio State.
They’ll get beat at some point and come crashing back to earth.
Full disclosure, I’m an ND hater. Can’t stand them.
But, this team is good. They aren’t great but they are very good. One of the best Olines in the country and a Senior veteran QB. Yes Clemson will be favored by 10 over them in the championship game but they are legit this year.
And outside of Alabama, Clemson and maybe Ohio State, who else is really that great?

They are a clear top 4 or 5, the rest is nitpicking… And when they win and others lose, you reward the team who does it on the field, not in the power ratings, recruiting ratings, etc…Their win and complete shutdown of an excellent UNC offense on the road was one of the biggest performances all season.
They have a clear top 4 or 5 defense and are a clear top 5 team…Their schedule was fine and since others lost they deserve whatever seed they get. I hate ND but this is a good team.
There is no team as good as the top 3 last season, actually the top 4 last season if you include Bama WITH Tua. The closest appears to be Bama, but I’d make them a dog to any of those 4 teams, maybe close to a pick em to '19 Bama w Tua

Totally agree with this. It’s a weird season. No one is bulletproof, and injuries are more likely any given saturday because of covid.
I’m pissed at ND because we’d be coastal champs this year without them around… although are divisions even a thing this year? Maybe it doesn’t matter. And maybe it’s better not to get spanked by Clemson again.

Clemson is running out of weapons at WR and for some reason can’t run it…Like last night was the night that Etienne should have FINALLY broke out. He was pedestrian again…As a team they did break some big runs though with the other backs and Lawrence, that’s a good sign for them

ND could fall out with a loss…With a bad loss I would think that would happen…I don’t know I don’t follow a lot of media consensus. Not sure what the current narrative and scenarios are

Basically, ATM is the only team with no more tough games. Don’t think USCw or CU get considered due to limited schedules.
ND has been good for years. They are good again this year. They beat Clemson. Clemson has a great backup QB. They are going to be in the top 4 and deserve it. The ACC is not cake walk. Cinci and BYU play non power 5 schedule and it is different. Every week you have to bring your best in the Power 5.
OSU might be the best team in the nation. I hope they get left out because the Big10 management blundered.

It’s outrageous where Iowa St. is ranked in the CFP playoff rankings. How they are above a really good 8-0 Cincy is preposterous.
While we are at it, I am not sure how Miami is below Iowa State OR Georgia.
Iowa St is the feel good story for many media types.
