I’m pretty sure my position was more along the lines of “this operation isn’t just a land grab.” I always maintained that Russia WOULD grab land if it could but that there were ulterior motives and objectives at play here that we the public just don’t know about.
I think that has kind of been proven out. Unless you want to believe a military like Russia’s now can’t achieve a victory right next door.
I support Putin, because Putin values the lives of Russians living under a barbaric Nazi regime. Putin has been a great leader of Russia. Russia was in terrible shape following the collapse of the Soviet Union. Putin has done an excellent job of stewarding the Russian economy that its people live more prosperous lives. Putin has never expressed the intent of re-occupying Eastern Europe other than Ukraine. Putin invaded Ukraine for just reasons. Putin is ending the proxy war of the U.S. against Russia. Our policy simply stated is fighting until the last Ukrainian soldier perishes. Neither the U.S. nor NATO are willing to send their people into the conflict. The Ukrainians cannot and will not defeat the Russian Army which certainly has spared destroying large cities in Ukraine. Russia will restore what historically has been Russia and annex large portions of Ukraine. It will destroy neo-Nazism in the country, and it will replace the radical Zelensky government.
Western Europe is being broken by this war, and would settle the conflict but for Russia haters in the Biden Administration. Russia supplies the modern world with certain raw materials that are needed for nations to prosper. Already we’re seeing the effect of the Ukraine war in America. This runaway inflation, printing money, shortages at our markets, threat of recession are all due to efforts to punish Russia. Russia is better prepared to weather the vagaries of economics than the West. It produces vast quantities of food and energy. It’s people have less distant memories of WW2 when the Red Army defeated the best the Germans could throw at them. Despite sustaining the greatest loss of life of any nation in the Great War, Russia prevailed.
I blame the war on Biden’s stupidity as a leader. I think that NATO expansion is idiocy. It is costly in terms of dollars and unnecessary. Ukraine should be partitioned. It’s army dismantled. It’s Nazi faction destroyed, and it should be a neutral country because it is correctly perceived by Russia as a threat to the security of the Russian people. Europe and the U.S. should stop sending weapons to fight a war that cannot be won, and a new era of better relationships with Russia should be forged. As for appeasement, only Russia is in a position to appease.
Here’s another video by Gonzalo Lira. Lira lives in Ukraine and really understands the problem. We need to stop Ukrainians from committing suicide. GSC being a seasoned thinker understands that Russia has a point of view that is being ignored completely. What Americans get in the way of news is propaganda and expert opinion devoid of expertise. I think the truth is emerging, and some Americans are crestfallen because Russia has things well in hand in Ukraine. Imagine the USA supporting Nazis in Ukraine. Has anyone asked why we send weapons for Ukrainians to commit suicide. I surmise Ukrainian lives don’t matter.
Putin is cleaning up Ukraine. Russian speaking Ukrainians will soon be living in Russia again. They will no longer be forced to learn Ukrainian and swear fealty to Ukraine. Their hearts and souls are Russian.
Putin is stripping power from Ukrainian oligarchs and their cohorts in foreign NGOs who made obscene profits from raping the Ukrainian people. No more Bidens, Pelosis, Romneys, and Kerrys in Ukraine profiting from back room deals.
No way NATO can defeat Putin without nuclear weapons. Putin doesn’t lose wars. The Red Army is superbly prepared and has had years of planning in warfare strategies. Russians are in the main chess players. Reports of failure are mostly propaganda. The Ukrainian Army is holed up in large cities surrounded by human shields. The war is just about over, and it will be Putin who dictates terms of settlement. After all, it was Russians who fought the war, and conquest is clearly spelled out under International Law. The end of America’s proxy war against Russia is near at hand. Now it’s time to make peace and make Russia a partner in the Western coalition.
