6 Ukrainians planned it.
President Zelensky approved it.
Dutch Intelligence discovered it.
The CIA warned not to do it.
President Zelensky ordered it halted.
General Zaluzhniy led the plot anyway.
The saboteurs chartered a fishing yacht through a foreign shell company owned by Ukrainian Intelligence. They were a mixed crew of military and civilians. One officer was the skipper. Four were trained deep-sea divers. The operation cost $300,000, funded by Ukraine.
General Zaluzhniy was recently removed from his post as General and appointed Ukraine’s Ambassador to the UK. The position gives him immunity from prosecution.
