I disagree. A more clear concise message regarding mitigation efforts would have reduced the number of deaths.
I would agree that the correction stands so long as it is followed by an asterisk, and appropriate kudos were given to Trump for his Operation Warp Speed. It would never have happened under another president. NEVER.
Bikki - a consistent response to mitigation efforts by Trump - in addition to the vaccine rollout? He would easily have been re-elected. He should also be more public about getting the vaccine - as (obviously) there will be hesitancy by many to get it.

I think your comment is a fair one, 51. Hindsight is always 100%, but every error Trump ever made was augmented by partisan media attention, always biased against Trump, never commending his numerous achievements. A great number of presidents have been scorned for their personal style and behavior, yet in retrospect their stature increases. Truman and Eisenhower are two examples of same.
I cannot see why you’d be happy 51 with a President Biden. In fact, I rather think anyone voting Biden might well have as the metaphore says “sh*t for brains”.

I think it’s less about being happy with Biden and more about being happy that the Trump circus is coming to an end.
The media created a circus atmosphee aimed at discrediting a president with a paranormal number of achievements, anl you’d prefer Joe Biden, Mr. Big, head of a veritable crime family. If Biden wins, he’ll be gone quickly, especially if Trump can get a special prosecutor appointed. We watched on national television Biden bragging about his successful extortion of Ukraine. In fact, in the proceedings of a Ukraine court it was stipulated by Burisma that they were paying payola to the Bidens.
And Trump - through his words and actions - had nothing to do with this? Give me a break.

Anyway - I actually think Biden may not live through his term. 78 - it’s certainly possible and has happened before.
As I mentioned - enough people - especially those who otherwise would not have cared to vote - decided they were tired of the circus. And we’ll never know - but I’d like to think Trump’s constant criticism of McCain - both while alive and after his death - cost him Arizona. And before you say anything - I don’t want your opinion of McCain. Do you think it was a good idea to trash someone revered in AZ?

Yes, trashing McCain was always in order. McCain was a jerk. I know it and obviously Trump did as well, and why should Trump repress the truth for political purposes. Arizona voters too should have been able to discern that McCain was always an egomaniac and a disloyal politician. That McCain is in any way revered is indicative of our living in an inverse universe. My friend and business partner General Chuck Pitman couldn’t stand McCain. Chuck was a smart guy who went from being an orphan to an enlisted man to a three star general.
Bikki - this isn’t about what you - or the citizens of AZ thought about McCain. Regardless of opinions - he was loved.
At the end of the day it’s about catering to people to get them to vote for you.
