Inflation is hitting big time. I don’t think it’s going away for a long time. It’s at the highest level since 1981. Used cars are selling for more than the equivalent new cars sold a year ago. Inflation in the car market was up 10% last month. This will cause huge problems for the middle and lower class.
Violent crime in our cities is increasing exponentially. After the defund the police push, Biden is now talking about adding police.
The border is still a disaster.
Meanwhile the media and Dems are trying to distract by keeping COVD alive, talking about the vaccines, and discussing CRT and race issues. All distractions to avoid talking about the disaster we are experiencing.
And to top it all off we have a weak President who isn’t interested in uniting the country. Just listen to his speeches.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the spike in the used car market isn’t caused by inflation but low supply. I’m not saying it’s not a problem, just that it’s a temporary post-covid issue.
I agree with you on crime and the border. Crime, which has been very low for a long time, has been reversing trend for a couple of years. Here’s hoping we can get a handle on that.
Trump predicted accurately that Biden would ruin things fast. He has done so faster than I expected. Inflation is going to affect heavily the middle class. In fact, the middle class will be reduced in size due to poor Democrat governance.
Take away Democrat-governed cities, and crime in America is not a monumental problem. However, in the aforementioned cities, crime is burgeoning.
By 2022, America will be in such bad shape that a Republican landslide will take place. In the meantime, I would heartily support any army coup that would remove Biden. Trump won and the American people were swindled.
Re: Cuba. Much to the chagrin of communists both here and abroad, were relations including travel permission normalized with Cuba, half the island would empty out into the United States. When Cuban-Americans 90 miles away live in relative luxury compared with island dwellers, the impetus to abandon communist serfdom would be overwhelming.
This is very accurate. I’m a loan officer so I can attest to this. There aren’t enough new cars out on the market to drive down the price of used cars. It’s a simple supply/demand issue. Once new cars are readily available like once before, you will see a change.

Liberal governance always fails as does Keynesian economics. Reading Benjamin Franklin’s simple advice on economics makes you more aware about financial prosperity than reading all the Keynsian trash that liberals hail as gospel. Simply stated, you cannot in perpetuity spend more than you have. Borrowing money hoping to pay it back with inflated currency punishes those in society who are not among the elite class which of course includes politicians which almost always somehow become remarkably wealthier after serving multiple terms in office purportedly serving their constituency.
Far and away biggest crime in America today is open borders which in large part is responsible for the mess described in this thread. The replacement theory is not racist, not at all.
