North Carolina played well until the final 10 minutes or so…they offered up a valiant effort. The shambles which was the Miami vs Okie State fiasco is something else altogether. Of the six teams which all lost …Miami seemed to be the one without a single defensive clue.
A team from the Big XII (a league known only for offensive volatility) …a team without a lick of defense …was allowed to stifle Miami (whose play calling seemed to have been published in an Oklahoma daily) with almost a minimum of effort.
