Lashlee was a good hire by SMU. Watching his offense is enjoyable, and the Mustangs put up lots of points on the scoreboard. That so many Hurricane players followed him to SMU is a sure sign of his being a good coach and highly regarded by his players. To date, he brought out the best in TVD
Love Lashlee’s rushing game. He has a 6’5" 268 lb fullback who is a devastating blocker with a backfield of multiple backs. My kind of football. Rooster made a nice run to open the second half and averages 7.6 yards a carry for the season.
SMU building a $100 million football facility. Lot of money in Dallas.
EJ roberts has been the best of the bunch. Tell me you wouldn’t take his 8.5 sacks Vs the sack of potatoes we have named moss. Heck even mr fumble’s long plays are missed.
Thought Lashlee might have put SMU in a major bowl today with the group of five best ranked team. They beat Tulane, are 11-2 but Liberty is still there at 13-0 and could end up the highest rated Go5 team. Oh well, off to the ACC for SMU regardless.
Miami needs a better offensive coordinator and QB coach. As a head coach, Mario is a strong recruiter, but we cannot tolerate throwing away victories due to poor decision making as we did at Georgia Tech. Additionally it would be inane to go into next season without a capable QB. At the moment, I see no bright lights in our QB room. The more I think about the more I think we should go after Dante Moore.
Lashlee’s team will do just fine in the ACC. I believe his present SMU team would make quick work of the Hurricanes.
As fans, we’re just tired of being/looking “lost” out there on Saturdays. Mike Norvell? Jeff Brohm? friggin’ Mack Brown? Makes no difference, just line 'em all up, we’ll make them all look like Bill Walsh out there!
